At Rittenhouse’s trial, which is scheduled to begin on November 1st, the jury may need to find only that when he pulled the trigger he reasonably feared death or great bodily harm.

Shocking.

It seems like she attempts to insinuate a similarity between Kyle's back story and Blake's back story. Like, now we know more about them. As if Blake's isn't a billion times worse.

I'd have thought after 9-11, NewYorkers had earned a level of respect and leeway to last a life time, if not more.

Maybe not.

it’s only “the presence of Rittenhouse’s own weapon” that gives him “the opportunity to claim that he was in fear of bodily harm.”

Soooo .....

It was not the thug, pedo, POS, felon adult chasing a teenager across a street, into a parking lot, attempting to assault him that placed Rittenhouse in bodily harm. No. It was the fact Rittenhouse had means to defend himself that placed Rittenhouse in bodily harm.

The fact that even a rag like that wrote what it did gives me hope he will be found innocent.

frick these people. This isn't based off anything. No facts, no actual data.

If anything we've seen blacks get a pass. I mean they rolling down the street on police vehicles twerking.

A demonstrator ran up behind Rittenhouse and smacked him in the head. When Rittenhouse tripped and fell, another man executed a flying kick; Rittenhouse fired twice, from the ground, and missed. Another demonstrator whacked him in the neck with the edge of a skateboard and tried to grab his rifle; Rittenhouse shot him in the heart. A third demonstrator approached with a handgun; Rittenhouse shot him in the arm, nearly blowing it off.

He rose from the asphalt and continued toward the police lights. A man screamed, “That’s what y’all get, acting tough with fricking guns!”

Rittenhouse tried to flag down armored vehicles that were now moving toward the victims, but they passed him by, even after witnesses pointed out that he’d just shot people. Next, he approached a police cruiser, but an officer inside apparently told him, “No—go.”

Every bit of this is true. It's documented and incontestable.

But then the author goes full retard and starts talking about systemic racism and not obvious self defense.

The fact is, if Rittenhouse gets convicted of literally anything that results in him doing time, we should absolutely be in an actual war with the left. That will be a very ugly precedent from which a "free" nation would never recover.

Thomas told me that if Rittenhouse hadn’t concluded that it was his responsibility to venture, armed, into a “hot environment,” he “wouldn’t have been in harm’s way, and he certainly wouldn’t have hurt anyone else.”

A similar logic could also be applied to the people he shot. They put themselves in a dangerous situation (some of them were armed too), therefore, Kyle can’t be charged with their murder

They’re trying to make an example of him plain and simple. If the situation was exactly the opposite and they killed him, they wouldn’t be calling for the killer to be thrown in prison. An example being the Antifa guy that basically executed a Trump supporter in Seattle. It all comes down to, he is politically on the opposite side to us while the attackers were on our side.

The first part wasn't horrendous and they adequately described him being attacked. The black part was kind of nuts, but they do have a point the police just letting a kid who was involved in multiple deaths go without even questioning was odd.

The second part is insane. They are basically arguing having a gun means you don't have the right to protect yourself.

The use of smacked and whacked as gentler euphemisms for aggression is an obvious attempt to frame his actions as an overreaction. Pitiful

It wasn't for a lack of effort on his part. He tried to turn himself in.
