Back in 2020 when the Whitehouse reporter asked Kayleigh if Donald Trump wishes the South won the Civil War.

I would walk over, slap the reporter into the previous week, glare at the speechless audience and walk back into my time machine like a boss

JFK's own private security team takes out his official security team and all those involved in a conspiracy to assassinate him are prosecuted and jailed.

The US prints its own currency backed by gold and America crushes the roots of all the current commie bastards destroying America.

One of two...

1981 ... for me personally, in my life. We had Ronald Reagan in The Office. He was popular and the left had now response. The 'malaise' of Carter was gone. The military was the place to be.

Second...

A few years after WWII was over. We were the beacon of the free world. So much was accomplished in the next quarter century.

That movie is tough.

I'd reset at 1861, and let the Confederacy leave.

Personally, 1981

For the good of the USA - pre-slavery. Don't do it obviously.

basically the Mob. Keep in mind that Jack Ruby had Chicago outfit ties. That is common knowledge. He owned a nightclub, was involved with narcotics, gambling and racketeering.

The Mob, Something that according to Hoover and his boyfriend, didn't exist.

March 4th 1933 I would hide FDR's wheelchair and crutches or drug him and use a deepfake imposter.

April 11, 1861. Convince Jefferson Davis to free to slaves before a single shot is fired on Fort Sumter. Removed the ability for revisionist historians to say the Civil War was only about freeing the slaves then teaching that to our children.

ETA: Or as others have said, before slavery came to the Americas. Put a stop to that shite before it even becomes a thing.

1776, have a discussion about the bill of rights.... alter shall not be infringed, to shall not be infringed, ever, no matter what, any attempt is grounds for immediate hanging, for reasons!
