Most of these stories are completely made up or twisted to the point where they might as well be. White man did something really bad. Killed a lot of women and lots of babies. Lots. Cancel white man.
Kinda like Tulsa race riot. A few colored and few whites were killed after colored boy tried to rape white girl. The number of colored killed seems to grow every year. I’ve seen some say 3,000. Set them back hundreds of years.

Change must be well planned out - or be a very lucky happenstance.
In nature, bad changes die out. In poor governments, bad changes (for the people) are welcomed if the government is based on the people being disadvantaged.
So - when a power-mad cult happens to gain power, they are anxious to destroy everything that has show to be beneficial to the people in general, so as to increase the dependence of the people on their 'largess' to the greatest extent possible.
It is even more attractive to them if they are satisfied being the 'lessor lords' to the global financiers who control the money supply.

In MT, they renamed a lake fka called Coon Lake. There was a hilarious debate about it on Nextdoor or maybe FB. You couldn't just operate under the normal-person assumption that it was named after, you know, actual coons, could you? You know the animals who love to live around lakes? Instead of a racist epithet for a population who has never lived near the rural mountain Montana lake? Nope. Can't do that. Must signal all our subtly bigoted backward-assed "virtues."
