I love this narrative that Trump is being told by Israel what to do.
quote:that never happened and no serious person actually believed this
He was also being told what to do by Putin, remember?
Hope this helps

This theology you've expounded is starkly contradicted by many of your fellow Protestants who call themselves Dual-Covenant Evangelists.
Personally, my own understanding of the issue is aligned with yours, BUT, the opposing viewpoint is shared by millions of our fellow Americans.
This is an example of two "Faith Alone. Bible Alone" denominations, both claiming Holy Spirit-inspired Truthful interpretations of Scripture, but yet each holding a theological position that is in direct contradiction of the other.
When each person with a Bible is their own teaching authority, we get these contradictions very often.

That fits Trump to a T. The most easily bought politician of importance in our lifetime.

We’ve seen this controversy in the Catholic Church as well

And there’s the problem. People who keep believing disagreements or pointing out the truth is “hate”.
It’s not hatred, they’re just wrong

Last time I checked, we bombed Iran too. Why are you so focused on Israel? Is it because they have similar interests in not letting a bunch of radical jihadists have a nuke?
We do not purposefully target citizens. Israel does.

If they do not accept Jesus as their savior, they most certainly will not be saved. The BIBLE is pretty clear
Misguided Christians read books taken from the Torah and given the label "Old Testament" and think it should mean something to Christians. Meanwhile the teachings of Jesus are ignored for writings of mortal men who led a false religion.

He’s certainly resource focused, but I was thinking more along the lines of his guard drops / gives the benefit of doubt / thinks you are buddies as soon as someone butters him up with praise or gifts.
It’s common knowledge, and most people are willing to acknowledge it. But far fewer people are willing to admit it’s a vulnerability.

It is a controversy that arises in every organized denomination of any Religion, simply because that is human nature - we are bound to interpret things differently.
The Roman Catholic Church a long time ago chose a method to contend with an minimize this "friction", and that is to establish an official teaching authority that publishes a printed Catechism - not just a brief outline - but a Catechism book that is over 800 pages of detailed text and well-researched footnotes. It's a remarkable work.
And even so, as you say, STILL we have some problems of folks in the RCC who interpret Scripture in a manner that contradicts the Catechism. The main thing about this is - if they don't agree with the Catechism, then, they will probably leave the Catholic Church and find a church that's a better fit for them.

I am asking about your thread title. Is this meant to be a threat? I've trash talked Israel for years and haven't suffered a heart attack.
Are you trying to say that Israel is now going to start killing people who speak poorly of them on the internet?

Rightttt. Way to act like the Marxist woke left. “Everyone hates Jews!!!”
My Jewish wife will be shocked.
Orrrrr maybe they don’t like our politicians being bought by them or us seemingly putting their interests before ours when we have a civil war with Marxists ongoing at home.
It’s not just Israel it’s any or every country we support and fund.
Israel has a pretty sweet welfare system and free healthcare which I’m POSITIVE they wouldn’t be able to afford without our billions given to them. The same as Europe.
