Coffee is one of those things that go up and down.

I paid $8.99 the other day.

It has been $10.99 previously.

Green coffee was priced at $1.25 when Trump ended his first term. Less than a year later while Biden was in office, it went up to $2.30. The price of green coffee was $3.42 the day Trump was sworn into his 2nd term.

So, prices went from $1.25 to $3.42 while Biden was in office. Prices are currently about $3.75.

So, which President's policies sent green coffee prices soaring again?

Has your coffee increased 25%.

Mine has not.

Maybe 25% since 2008. But no, not in the past few months.

Are you trying to gaslight people that grocery prices aren’t high? It’s all some rogue journalist playing tricks on Americans?

grocery prices are higher. Coffee prices are higher. The higher price for consumer coffee is a direct reflection of green coffee price increases. Those increases were 173%+ during the Biden presidency and now less than 10%+ during Trump's presidency.

The lie is that tariffs have caused increases coffee prices. Every coffee company with any sizable portion of consumer market share had already increased coffee prices 2-3x prior to Trump starting his 2nd term.

Well, not everyone can match the gold standard of a mainstream media outlet referencing anonymous sources about how bigoted Trump is.

I'm not sure why I'm getting down voted. You can legit go look at green coffee prices and see that the biggest surge happened prior to 2025 and prior to tariffs. Some of you just don't want to accept the truth.

Coffee prices have not risen 25 percent since January. Maybe 5 percent. More leftist fake news hysteria.

Tell that to Rouse’s, please. What used to be $16.99 for Community 32oz is now $22.99.

So you're the guy drinking the Wal Mart stuff.

Coffee prices have gone up though. In reality upwards of 30 - 35 % a pound. Avg. Price per pound is about 9.15

We only charge one dollar more per pound than a year ago.

Well, we know the numerator. What’s the denominator? Quick google search shows about 12 bucks. So maybe 10% more than before.
