Would you support military action against China to support Hong Kong or Taiwan?

Both are fighting for independence and more importantly liberty and democracy against an autocratic and arguably evil regime. Would you support military action in defense of either or both if it came down to it?
For Taiwan we have always maintained that we would, but I think that’s horseshite. If we hadn’t have had so many pointless wars like Vietnam and Iraq I think the public’s willingness to do so would be much greater.
At the end of the day I don’t support involving us militarily in that but I’d 100% support an economic hit to them. True sanctions and get the Europeans on board somehow. It would hurt us economically for sure but it would cause chaos there.

No way. I would welcome HK refugees tho and send planes to get them and share them between allies like Japan Australia, etc. Those are the kind of immigrants who make America great.

Nope. China has over 1 Million more military personnel than the US and 1 Billion more people.

No military action for HK, but we absolutely should use it as the impetus to slap china back to the stoppage economically. Might even be able to get some of the less cowardly European countries to join us in a real sanctions package.
Taiwan is more complicated. China has way less of a claim on Taiwan and while they don't acknowledge the government, they haven't done much of anything to really try to retake it. I think sending a fleet or two to prevent an invasion would be more than enough to scare china straight if they got too aggressive, but would never want boots on the ground. The only way to really get HK free from china probably requires millions of dead on our side and around 100 million dead Chinese
