More government involvement is never best. Or even good.

Spoken like a 14 year old.

If everyone had a “better paying job” then real estate would just be even more expensive.

No...if I did I would be a hypocrite.

I would like the opportunity to one day buy some land somewhere like the Philippines, Belize, Costa Rica, or Ecuador. Some of those countries might require that you become an LPR though.

Not sure what you mean by "foreigner". A legal permenant resident is still a foreigner but can work and live in the US. They just cant vote.

Do you feel like the opportunity to own a home is a fundamental American value?

I don't understand your question. The RIGHT to own a home is a guaranteed American RIGHT. Opportunity? I just don't know what that means. It sounds like you are flirting with guaranteed outcomes, instead of guaranteed rights If so, I'm opposed.

Investment groups have no business owning individual residential homes, period!

Foreigners…..is a wide brush! Narrow it down to not allowing certain nations and I’m with you

Absolutely. No foreign entity should own a blade of grass on American soil.

Yes. In addition, the government needs to nationalize all property owned by foreign entities and sell it back to Americans. Foreigners aren't covered by the Constitution and have no rights.

Would you support a ban on foreigners buying US stocks? treasury bills? automobiles?

Same kind of foolishness was being tossed around in the eighties concerning the Japanese.

I'd support a ban on foreigners buying ANY US real estate, but as long as we have the financial class like Mitt Romney running this country, I won't hold my breath. Pierre needs his money.

Yes, at least with land. Maybe they can buy a condo or something but foreign development is not necessary

Not a big ban fan. At this point of time it’s critical to remember that because a person is a citizen of the United States of America does not make them an American

I would support a ban on the purchase of ALL real estate by non-citizens.
