If he weren’t serious he wouldn’t have invaded them in February

If he were sincere, he would have taken the pre-war deal mediated by Macron which promised Ukrainian neutrality.

Why not?

He invaded Ukraine to steal land.

He thought Covid had weakened the West enough to be able to do it with his propaganda/disinfo campaign.

He miscalculated

Global despair is the only way a great reset can happen. The peasants have to be in so much pain that whatever bullshite globalists introduce will look good by comparison.

They were pretty chummy at the SCO conference a few weeks ago. But, this thread goes to what you were saying the other day. If OP is right, this is the end of globalism, not a war FOR globalism.

OH yeah. Big time.

Forcing either the EU or China to take sides against the US is the end of globalism

That could change at a moments notice. Just take public pressure

Turning back on a power plant, an offshore rig, building a microprocessor plant or significantly expanding aircraft manufacturing would all take two plus years.

This isn’t 1941, the tech required to build machines of war is orders of magnitude more complex, not to mention our supply chain is global and in shambles right now.

It took 2 years to come online for WW2, now it might take 5.

I don't see it that way. If anything, the EU is now more solidly in the US's sphere, and China has much less room to maneuver.

The EU reference was my thread (where we bomb the pipeline and make the EU our enemies)

In terms of China, a more integrated US-EU relationship has to force China to look for integration opportunities rather than investment opportunities. I don't think they are ready for that yet. It pushes the timeline of a potential US challenge back a bit, especially because of the performance of Western tech against Russian made tech, upon which China has based some of its designs.

Again, we have blood on our hands here also. Putin should not have invaded, but to pretend we did nothing to provoke this is niave at best, and moronic at worst.

War is the only answer. We have to create a conflict with Russia and China so we can be the suppliers of oil and gas to Europe, so we can cut all trade with China and move productions back home. Just like WW2, win and we come out top dog.

The coming demographic and economical implosion of Russia and China will have the same effect while hopefully avoiding the killing of millions of Americans or a nuclear exchange. We just have to be patient and smart. Im not sure that we will be either.

I’d rather fight domestic globalist first. They are the biggest threat to the Republic.

here’s a problem with this: China produces around 80% of our pharmaceuticals. The first people to die in a war with them will be diabetics unable to get their insulin.

If you look a little further that stat is not accurate. It appears as though the FDA really does not have a firm grasp on the number of active pharmaceutical ingredients china produces which is just as bad.

I had a long time friend die a few days ago because his doctors could not get Dobutamine which is manufactured in China and India.

You expect US politicians that have been bought by China to do these things?
