Not going to jump into that OT shitshow, but serious question for everyone here:

What is the difference between a feral dog and a coyote? I've had both kill my chickens, and I know people around me that have even had baby goats killed and dragged off by wild dogs.

I'm not saying this woman isn't an idiot and I have no idea if the dog was feral or not, but I've shot feral dogs before, and I would have no hesitation doing so again.

How horrible! Words escape me. I imagine that is someone's pet. How can anyone who live in Montana and would actually go out on a solo hunt for a bear not know this was a dog and not a wolf! What an idiot.

In February 2022 wolves were put back on the endangered species list and shouldn't be hunted anyway! I completely understand hunting to control population and those that hunt and actually eat their kill. But sport hunting just turns my stomach, it is disgusting!

If she can't tell the difference between a husky and a wolf, even after coming into contact with the dog, she shouldn't be able to have a hunting license.

Must be a pretty new hunter. A pup no less. She needs to invest in a guide if that's what makes her day. All groups have bad apples; hunters are no different.
