Married at 17 isn't a big deal, but kids at 17 is something else. Kids at 17 is only for people who have their heads on good and straight. Your sister sounds like that type, but I would think most 17 year olds shouldn't be having kids quite yet.

Actually I saw the guy's comment as an attempt to send this thread down the path of ridiculing this young woman in the same way the other thread went for a good long while. Granted guys eventually realized the seriosness of the issue, but someone would have to slog through many pages of T&A references to get to the serious issues.

From my Father in Law, who is a principal at a school for pregnant teens and their mostly retarded adult aged boyfriends. When two kids get into a fight, you back off, let them weaken each other, then break up the fight when one has clearly lost the will to fight. Otherwise you are just going to get yourself in the middle of a fight and get yourself hurt.
