Good food, good service, reasonably priced

It just shouldn't be that hard.
Good food and service make "reasonable pricing" less likely.
That's a major problem with CB (which is why the rebrand was even conceptualized) and other legacy chains.

Shareholders apparently voted to retain her in November.
And this is the problem. When business becomes a publicly traded investment property, food, service, theme... all that shite goes out the window depending on the ever shifting whims of a board only truly interested on a number or their own public image. It's a cancer that has effected the spectrum of business in this country... and much in the same way.

They need to start making their biscuits from scratch again.
Hell, i'll just settle for getting them at this point. Last few times we've gone, it was like pulling damn teeth to get our biscuits and apple butter. Last time, a few months ago, we didn't get them until after we had basicall finished our breakfast

You probably wear the same glasses that she wears.
The last couple of times I had Cracker Barrel, it was not good. I was shocked because I have always loved Cracker Barrel. I hope they change a lot of things and get back to what made people love them in the first place. If your food is no good, forget about it.

Not so fast my friend.
When they purge every vestige of LGBTQ etc from their restaurants and formally apologize for their stoopid decisions, then I'll return to CB.

They've been on the decline for a decade and a half. Her approach sucked but they've been in trouble for a while.

It’s such a small thing, but it really is true. Like tramp stamps and whores.

Thats not even remotely true...
In 2010 they had net income of 100M. By 2016 it was 190M in net income, which then climbed to over $220 million leading into Covid. In 2020 they lost 32M.
In 2021 they rebounded up to 250M in Net Income, then had a drastic drop all the way down to 100M in NI in 2023 and 40M in 2024, which is why they brought her in.
She was abe to get their NI all the way back up to 46M last year.
So, no. They have not been in trouble for a decade in a half. In fact, they were doing fine until about 2022-2024.

I didn't say there were in financial trouble. I said they've been in decline. That's my opinion of their quality (as they moved away from a scratch style) backed by declining foot traffic (which began pre pandemic) and the traction they made with younger customers in that same period. So yeah, they protected their margins successfully but the seeds of their demise were sown 2012-2013 or so; hence, the decline comment.
Yes, they did quite well financially until 2017 or so but the writing was on the wall when you looked at demographic trends. Younger crowds don't like their slop.

She almost ruined Cracker Barrel. Now, she will fail up and go ruin another company.
I’ll never understand why companies reward fricking morons.

But again, that's just not factual. They were rapidly growing from 2010-2020 until Covid. They, they roubounded to to double their pre Covid numbers. Their issues started in 2022-2024.

Some ugly, fat POS on that board was probably banging her. How else would someone like her get that position in a company like Cracker Barrel.

In other words, she was forced to step down cuz we're flooding money out the door, and we are so nice we let her claim she's stepping down instead of getting kicked to the curb.
Honestly the food was shite, should have worked on that rather than new curtains.
