A friend of mine that works in the LSU athletic department told me that she would be one of the most unlikable former LSU athletes in a decade.

Didn’t take that long.

I tried to fact that this because it reads like satire. All I could easily find is that the WNBA lost $40 million, not $400 million. I can find no other sources for this article’s claims.

Caitlinn is worth more

I believe the WNBA is offering Caitlinn more money because she was thinking of leaving to go play in Europe.

I got a tad bit interested in it for the first time ever when Caitlyn Clark was drafted. I actually watched her on tv. I watched the highlights of her getting fouled hard, slammed to the ground over and over which had some appeal even though I like her.

she certainly wasted little time bowing down to the woke agenda, kissing the feet of her WNBA bullies AND alienating her supporters when she basically acknowledged and apologized for her “white privilege” lol bitch can’t disappear soon enough for me

Just ditch the WNBA! It’s a terrible product! I’d rather professional fast pitch softball! A much more entertaining game than a bunch of unathletic, entitled women that can’t make a damn layup!

I agree. Back in the mid 90's, there was a women's baseball team called Silver Bullets from Colorado. They travelled the country a few years and played localized men's baseball teams. Back then medium sized cities and suburbs had leagues of grown men that still played, took it fairly serious. They played at a lot of minor league parks and was a good draw. The major problem was, they had to throw from 60.5 feet and couldn't compete with amateur men and didn't win much.

We could use pro women's fast pitch softball. I like watching them broads wind up and sling it 70 underhanded. Maybe even look at having a weight limit and putting them out there in skimpy outfits but keep it family friendly. What really sells fast pitch softball to me is the pitching. A few years ago I thought about posting on here seeing if anyone or a group wanted to invest in starting a league

The WNBA in its whole history has only had one player worth the type of money the men make in the NBA. She currently plays for the Indiana Fever.

What Clark has done for the WNBA makes HER worth a lot of money. Why any of the other WNBA players think they should make that kind of money I do not know. The WNBA had very little to no interest until Clark showed up. She carries that league while the rest of them just show up and try to be as woke as possible.

Same here! I have two daughters playing. My oldest will be senior next year, then probably play in college and then it’s over. My son is 23 and the oldest kid, he played baseball of course, I’m more entertained at my daughter’s softball tournaments! We’ve talked about creating a league as well.

I would still say no. Clark has brought a lot of new eyes to the sport. Women’s basketball has grown because of Clark. No other WNBA player both past and present has generated the interest in women’s basketball like Clark has.

So, if they got paid what they were worth, they’d have to pay to play in the WNBA?

It could probably make money dude. I'd design it somewhat after the WNBA as far as logistics/ travel. You could scoot the mound and bases back about 5 feet to create a little more offense. Maybe have a 6 inch mound if that works.

My theory is, that underhand fastball is entertainment that ends when these girls are too young. But I'm seeing a lot of Jenny Finch's here. MLB doesn't throw like that. WNBA doesn't have that type of difference from NBA it's just slower and less athletic. We need to see if we can get some investors or maybe have the bulk of TD pitch in a few hundred and we all own a share in the league.

She bent the knee to appease the woke, lesbian league and lost all credibility. It was dumb for her and the WNBA...

Angel Reese has been running her mouth about the pay gap. She's obviously a moron but I am ready for her to keep pushing until the NBA owners grow balls and decided they will no longer subsidize the WNBA.

She just wants some of that sweet, sweet Caitlin Clark money. You'd think she wouldn't be such a bitch to the person holding up the entire league.

Absolutely! I love it! The money that flows at these tournaments are insane! It’s a great product! We’re going to the Saturday and Sunday LSU at UGA games in two weeks and the hotels in Athens are all but booked and tickets are almost sold out! Professional fast pitch needs to happen. It’s a secret gold mine in my opinion.
