Kinda like attacking commercial ships that have nothing to do with the war off the coast?

No you can’t attack civilian infrastructure. Full stop.
That must explain why the IRGC, Hezbollah, Hamas, and all other Iranian militant factions hide out in civilian infrastructure. That must explain why the IRGC, Hezbollah, Hamas, and all other Iranian militant factions supply themselves with confiscated products of civilian infrastructure at civilian expense.

You really are a horrible insult to RFK.

Attacking civilian infrastructure that is considered necessary for survival would be considered a war crime under legal frameworks in the Geneva conventions

When is the ICC gonna bring charges against Zelensky and Ukraine then? They've been attacking civilian infrastructure for several years now. I dont know how Russia or Ukraine can turn on a light in either country with all the power plants they have bombed.

Killing 40,000 unarmed civilians while protesting is a crime against all humanity.

You sure about that? Now days one might justifiably consider it to be a service to humanity.

Probably.

Now ask who would enforce it.

Like, for example, The Geneva Convention.
Does the Geneva Convention state that attacks on mixed use (military/civilian) FACILITIES is a war crime?

Yes What he is proposing to destroy is well defined as a war crime
Then Trump should get the same punishment as the other leaders who have done that.

What did the international community pass down as punishment to those folks?

Not if we’re not at war.

Did Congress approve a declaration of war?

If it did, I missed that.

Sincere question.

So, IRGC has continually committed war crimes. Well, at least we all agree on that

Next question - how much can we do to bring a swift end to their war crimes and would eliminating their power be an acceptable part if civilians are also without power?

Seems the answer would be yes

Next question - who enforced the war crimes part? UN?

I read this

The ICC generally only has jurisdiction if the crime occurred on the territory of a member state or if a state is a party to the Rome Statute, t

See, this is one of those things where everyone can cheer on shredding/ignoring international law. But, don't cry when you can't use that anymore. It's funny when the ICC calls Putin a war criminal, not so funny when they call Bibi one.
