You guys are the ones that keep starting threads about the election. Dems have moved on to 2018.

I don't think it's as much her loss as it is his win.
This is correct and anyone denying as such is a fool.
Trump is an offensive affront to everything that progs and democrats stand for. He's an insult to their ideology and so called values and it's driving them absolutely batshit insane.
Remember, Obama's "legacy" was on the ballot and they declared it so and and that's what really lost the election to them, not a shitty candidate like Hillary Clinton they don't give two shits about.

what was so great about Hillary and why was her losing a detriment to liberals' lives that it has caused a yearlong meltdown?
They started the "intellectually superior thing" during W's terms. We smart. You dumb and deplorable. Bush was called a moron, he mispronounced words, and had a southern accent although he had an Ivy League education.
They changed higher education by introducing man-caused climate change, gender, and diversity degrees. They taught a generation that they were victims of a conservative, privileged, and white-male dominated world.
The white male is the bad man. He cuts off your momma's electricity when she's 3 months behind. He repossess your car. He fires you from your job when you show up late, high, and unwashed.
Hillary would have saved them from that indignity, drowning in a rising ocean, and bought their momma more groceries.

Because your typical liberal has never learned what it’s like to lose, and not get everything you want. They live in a world where everyone should get a trophy, everyone should make the same amount of money, live in the same size house, etc. It is beyond their comprehension to understand why everyone can not win, and they are even worse at dealing with hardship, failure, and stress.

Exactly. It’s empty feel good language.

As a minority, I have to disagree. Progressives may have been making leaps and bounds, but minorities are far from helped by progressive policies.

Because they live in the MSM bubble which told them daily that Hillary could not lose

not putting the progression of minorities ahead of the economy.
And this is terrible why?
Even a not so bad democrat President even said that it's all about the economy stupid.

The left was so used to winning that they truly thought they couldn’t be beaten and put every egg in the Hillary basket, a lot becoming arrogant and taunting when trump became the front runner for the right. They laughed and danced and high fived just knowing the next step for the left was a Woman president. Then trump happened. An old school rich old arse white dude who made fun of retards and grabbed women by their vag whenever he wanted. This caused a nuclear meltdown. Then Vice President obviously who isn’t a fan of gay people solidified their fears that instead of merely halting the progression of human rights for minorities, this could be the start of an actual reversal.
This is great.

You're with Her. You turn on the news. They're with Her. You turn on late night tv. They're with Her. You go on Reddit. They're with Her. You go on twitter. They're with Her. You look at Actors. They're with Her. Musicians. They're with Her. Every poll says She will win.
The news says She will win. Late night tv says She will win. Reddit says She will win. Twitter says She will win. Actors say She will win. Musicians say She will win.
You've spent close to two years almost constantly being assured that you're on the "right side of history" because you're with Her and She will win.
She lost and you've got a shite load of cognitive dissonance.

Why should "progression of minorities", whatever the hell that is, be more of a priority than everyone's economic success as a whole? And wouldn't minorities actually benefit from said economic success?

It's hard on them because for quite a while during the election, hillbitch supporters were the most arrogant mofos in the country.
"There's no cheating, you're just losing ".
Msm and Hollywood convinced them that hillbitch was definitely going to win. Msm produced poll after poll after poll about how saintly hillbitch was and how drumph stood no chance.

You’ll prolly get a bunch of stereotypical poliboard responses including snow flakes and her turn stuff, but the reason the loss was so hard was due to the end of what some people consider “progression”. Minorities and “progressives” had been making leaps and bounds for the previous 8 years and felt like that train wasn’t ending. The only thing they couldn’t handle is a person winning who’s base contained people who were kinda obviously not putting the progression of minorities ahead of the economy. Trump never came out and said anything terrible, but the trump fans dog whistles of yearning for an earlier time and day of the United States didn’t just end with the economy. Any rational person could see that. Then Vice President obviously who isn’t a fan of gay people solidified their fears that instead of merely halting the progression of human rights for minorities, this could be the start of an actual reversal. The pendulum swung too far left for 8 years and when the right got a chance they’re taking it as far to the extreme as they can get, and that’s disheartening sometimes, but understandable.
OR...maybe liberals, the DNC and the media were too stupid to see that identity politics failed them miserably in 2010, 2012 and 2014.
Nah, that CAN'T be it, right?
ETA: the beautiful irony of this is that the Democrats did this to themselves. Hillary would have had a very good chance of beating John McCain in 2008...but they shoved her to the side so that they could say that they elected a woefully unqualified black man into office instead.
All that they had to do was let Hillary have her shot in 2008, have Obama waiting in the wings...and he would have been eligible to run in 2016. It's quite likely that President Trump wouldn't have even tried to run against him and even if he had, no one doubts that Obama would have garnered much stronger support than Hillary did.
At the end of the day, Democrats...you held the door open for President Trump and now you're having a shite fit because he dared to smile and nod at you as he walked inside.

It was hard for me when Obama was elected because I knew it would be 4/8 years of economic stagnation that would make my life harder.
On the flip side Trump’s election was guaranteed to make lives harder for illegal aliens, unnecessary bearuocrats, Islamic extremists, and communists. I know their pain... kind of.

Your use of logic here will fail "bigly" to register with liberals I'm afraid!
