Why shouldn’t we question the wisdom of doctors?

I keep seeing social media posts that us rubes shouldn’t question the wisdom of doctors regarding vaccines. Need I remind everyone of the ongoing opioid crisis? How many lives has that claimed? The science said they were safe, big pharma said they were safe and doctors prescribing them all said they were safe. It was rubes like us, that finally called enough attention to it before any doctor or public official finally declared it a public health emergency.

Your average GP has no idea whether or not to take that vaccine? None.
Half of them aren't taking it.
Does that answer your question?

We should, they are ones who spend the longest in brain washing facilities

It’s the exact same thing as the “polling experts” imo who used “scientific sampling” to give us such gems as Biden +17 in Wisconsin 5 days before the election (Trump likely carried Wisconsin by over 1%).
Their arrogance and unwillingness to address the blatant bias that most BoBo’s display is what drives me crazy.

A general principle you should be skeptical of everyone and everything.
Get your own data and seek opinions from multiple sources.
However as it applies to COVID, that includes questioning the whackdo sources a lot of the antivaxxers on this board use. One sided skepticism can be worse than not being skeptical.

Do your own research. Come to your own conclusions. Doctors are trying to push a false narrative to the uneducated masses.

Just remember there is a difference between a healthy dose of skepticism and arguing with subject matter experts. I am skeptical when my mechanic tells me I need a random service but don’t argue when he tells me my head gasket is shot.

If you go do the reasarch and can understand it then yeah trust yourself. However I would trust doctors if i didn't know what all the words and things in the study meant. Or above any kind of other person not accredited

Doesn't matter whether you are talking about doctors, scientists or any other experts in a field.
When you are wrong they will explain exactly why you are wrong.
If they instead insist that you be silenced, banned or put in jail then they are protecting a lie.
Before Christopher Columbus sailed there were a lot of scientists who posited that the world was round. They had discussions with other scientists who insisted it was flat.
You only risked prison when politics got involved.

That’s a great question, maybe Klarvin can enlighten the PT baws and bawettes?

MDs aren't research scientists. Sure they know pathology and physiology but many would probably struggle taking even the MCAT right now if they had to - why? It's because they are great at what they do - diagnosis and treatment but all the basic science not being used is eventually put away in their minds
Research scientists who specialize in virology would be a shite ton more apt to speak on these things than anyone in the medical field.
That's not an insult to them, it's just a fact. That's not their specialization.
That's like a database guru giving me a lecture on my specific job. Sure he knows databases, but if he had to do my specialization he would suck at it for a while.
I'm just now discovering many MDs don't even know how to calibrate standard lab equipment used in this research...

Doctors are super smart. All of them. Also, they are a monolith and all believe the same thing the media currently believes. Any doctor who doesn’t is a quack.
All of this is undeniably true.

And almost every virologist is dependent upon NIH grants and standing.
They’ll all get in line just like they did last year.

100% accurate

It seems the narrative now is who do you trust, a doctor with years of medical school or some random guy with google. The thing is though is that google has a wealth of information. Anyone can google research papers, studies, differing opinions. I think a lot of these so called experts revel in the fact that they have positioned themselves as the be all and end all authorities and simply don’t like people educating themselves on the subject matter. Five years ago the average person probably wouldn’t have a clue what mRNA gene therapy is, but now there are tons of people out there who have a pretty firm grasp of the concept. They might not be able to head into the lab and run experiments, but they know enough to question whether or not it’s something they want to subject their bodies too. Knowledge is power but it’s also dangerous in these times we live in because you can’t keep people in line

Hospital/Clinics get kickbacks for the number of vaccines they push. Some owners take the profits, others disperse throughout the staff. Right now, if you go to BR Clinic, you can read their vax policy on the wall... it goes something like this "We wont see you if you're not for vax"
Tells me all I need to know that this is about profit margins and not about your well being. DV away... matters not
