Why isn't a peace agreement an option with Ukraine

I know this would displease all the OT Raytheon bootlickers. But this war is just going to get uglier. I don't believe 90% of the reporting I hear, but I can say for certain there is a war going on and we are heavily involved. What are Russia's main objectives? Do we even know that Has? Has a peaceful compromise even been explored?
And even though the OT bootlickers think it would be really cool to totally own Vlad. It's still going to come at the risk of tens of thousands more dead and over Trillions of dollars (of our money) to do it if it is even possible. Who is the real loser?

You think someone who attacked a country unprovoked, so he could bring back the USSR and is now getting his arse handed to him would agree to a peace agreement?
The ONLY thing he might consider would be to take half of Ukraine and a guarantee the rest of Ukraine wouldn’t join NATO

The UK and the Biden admin told Zelenski not to negotiate a peace deal. They wanted a war and made sure they got one

Are we sure about that? Give up the Donbass and sign a pact agreeing not join NATO. And then Russia needs to pull out and sign a Pact respecting the sovereignty of Ukraine.

Not so sure on this one.
Early on at least, seems everyone was looking for Zekensky to cut a deal.
I think we have to look at WW1 and 2 for guidance. Appeasement does not work.

I doubt Ukraine is interested in giving up any of their territory and probably want Crimea back.
Since they feel their winning they're unlikely to accept any deal that requires them to cede territory and would most likely demand Russia to pay dearly for the damage to their country; I doubt any of this would be acceptable to Russia.

as of now Putin could just say he won the war and pull out if he wanted to, the press will agree 100 percent and people will have nothing else to believe, thats what Russia did with Afghanistan. but if he takes those 4, thats it, theres no way in hell Ukraine just gives that up in a war theyre winning, and no way in hell he just gives them back, he cant spin this as a win if he does that.
this is really bad. someone needs to Valkyrie this fricker fast, his head on a pike might be the only thing avoiding a nuclear war.

You mean like the one that Russia had previously signed along with the United States and Ukraine where Ukraine agreed to give up their nukes if Russia and the United States signed a treaty?

Because we and the other western countries told zelensky that 'no peace, no negotiations'. Ya can't blame us for saying that shite, because it's not our people being massacred. We just want benefits.
