I don’t know if not testifying is a good or bad idea or what it means. And I don’t really care.

I am not even sure it is possible to "incite" an "insurrection." You might be able to organize it, plan it, conspire to participate in it, but not negligently or even intentionally incite one.
What happened on Jan 6 was at most a riot, and a damned tame one compared to the shite we saw against the White House last summer. Larpers in animal skins taking selfies in the halls of the capital and causing minimal property damage is a pathetic riot.
