Election shenanigans aside, the way Biden beat Trump was to sit in his basement saying little. When your opponent is beating himself do not give him an easy out by pushing him off the stage.

This seems like a misreading of the dynamics and logistics at play to me.

That is frowned upon by prior presidents to interject themselves in the business of the current president.

WAS not is. G. W. Bush was the last President to maintain a respectful silence. Obama ran his dick sucker for four years, and Trump has never worried for one second about decorum.

That’s not the Republican platform.

I didn't know the Republicans had any leadership to begin with!

"Republican Leadership" is an oxymoron.

I put it in quotes for a reason.

I figured that. I just wanted to use the word "oxymoron."

“Election shenanigans aside”
“Election shenanigans” is the reason he won and the only reason.
If we aren’t viligant and more involved like Virginia was in their gubernatorial election we have ZERO chance of winning the presidency or most senate seats again unless it’s a uniparty approved member

Ever since Reagan was taken out of context saying:

"government is not the solution to our problems; government is the problem"

...it has been.

Meh. It's a touch early and the war in Ukraine makes it a bad time.

The summer is when things will heat up.

Rick Scott just issued a list which included raise taxes on the poor and cut social security.

The poor don't pay income tax and SS is going bankrupt. Along with the whole country.

His plan also has term limits for these politicians.

I think it would be pretty popular with the working class. They are the base of the new Rep. party.

The 10th Amendment is such a PITA for progs, ain't it though?

I don't know, but state governments are still governments, aren't they?

And to be quite honest, I don't want the Louisiana legislature to even get leftovers. I'm not sure what municipality and state you live in, but living in Baton Rouge gives me some measure of appreciation for the federal government. Don't get me wrong, Louisiana state government is good for laughs, but that's about it.

It's simple. Ask yourself 'Who is loud among republicans?' It's the GOP governors. Goes all the way back to Reagan. There is something about living in D.C. that changes them. It's the everyday culture. It's like a drug. People adapt to their surroundings gradually over time.
I'm more like Rand Paul. I don't care if everyone in my work environment hates me as long as I know that I'm right and they are wrong.

Where is the leadership in those two bodies out front telling the American people their plan to combat all the crap that has been brought forth over the past two years?

Who can convince me, it's not going to be just more same ole, same ole...?

Nobody can convince you, me, or anyone with eyes to see, ears to hear, and a brain to connect just two dots.

No can do, bro. You know it, I know it. Sorry to say.

There IS no GOP "Leadership". There IS no passion. There will be NO Push-Back. This is the last Act, last scene, the final scene of this sh*tty treasonous theater.

Mud-Turtle is just a neutralized Chicom puppet. His role is in treachery & back-stabbing. Turtle has *tamped DOWN* any GOP-MAGA momentum and sabotaging numbers for his entire Senate tenure -- while helping Dems strong-arm & crush GOP dissent.

McCarthy is obviously a pathetically weak GOP marionette-on-Valium. These weaselly bastards are joined by several more RINO-globalists in Congress who are nothing but designated Globalist traitors & sandbaggers of justice and Constitutional ANY-thing.

How the frick did you become the poster in this thread who I most agree with?

I'm Wild. What can I say?

I have very strong conservative values when it comes to fiscal responsibility. I haven't seen any of that in the federal government for 25 years outside of lip service.

Besides, I agree with a lot of the conservative posts on the board. But outside of an occasional upvote or two, what's the point in replying constantly with "Ditto!"? I prefer the back and forth of opposing views. That's why one of my favorite news shows used to be the McLaughlin Group. That John McLaughlin used to just break me up. I loved it when he would just say, "WRONG!"

He and Louis Rukeyser were my favorite 'news' show hosts growing up. I'm pretty sure they were both republicans.

I didn't say otherwise

You most certainly did. "had to deliver and they hated it", "occasionally patted on the head", and " they wilted" says absolutely NOTHING about the revolutionary fiscal policy they enacted.

They are plotting their strategy to lose bigly in November. They believe that a loss would seriously damage Trump’s chances in 2024. They don’t want to be the majority.
