Now, in her mid-30s, no children, no husband, completely left wing and pro LGBT and feminist, not religious, and a habit of dating tons of men and then trashing them in public.

This lifestyle may work out for her because of her unique financial and social situation... but for most women it is not a recipe for success for both the individual and for healthy, cohesive communities.

Taylor Swift seems like some sort of CIA psy-op. If you remember, she was originally sold as a wholesome, Christian, country singer, who stayed away from politics... and then one day randomly started spouting left wing propaganda.

Relax, it's just business.

This young woman is a master at developing and promoting her brand. Stop seeing her as an artist, or an idol, and see her as simply a business woman. Anyone looking for morals in a free market is doomed to fail. It's all about money.

I mean young girls could do a lot worse. She dresses modestly, her music is relatively clean. And by all accounts, she’s a nice and decent person. Her politics are liberal but it’s not in your face and hasn’t found it’s way into her music yet.

I guess people say she dates a lot or alot of guys. But the last guy she dated for seven years. I don’t know what people expect.

Easy, she's 33 years old, has no children, and promotes promiscuity.

Wasn’t she a virgin late into her 20s? Y’all hate all the female stars that dress slutty. One comes along that doesn’t and y’all make up reasons to hate her

Have you ever noticed the same people who control entertainment also control the democrat party? Have you ever noticed that everyone who has a successful entertainment career, despite being highly creative and unique thinkers, all subscribe to the same exact ideology which miraculously runs in complete congruency to the democrat party???

Amazing coincidence I gotta say.

All the millennial and gen X moms seem to really be pushing Taylor Swift on their daughters as some sort of role model they should aspire to

Highly successful musician and songwriter who stays out of trouble, modest by industry standards, charitable to her community and from what everyone says is one of the nicest people...yeah she sounds terrible....

Kids should be taught to NOT idolize public figures. When I was a little boy my mom and dad was who I looked to for guidance and that hasn't changed.

Yeah, I didn't have any public figure role models either. My role model was my dad. And my mom was my anti-model. IE, whatever mom was like I needed to be the opposite because I realized she was an idiot by the time I was 12.

She perfectly encapsulates the current victim culture. A boyfriend dumps her? She writes a song about it. She feels a friend (Katy Perry) disrespected her? She writes a song about it.

A large part of her popularity is due to the fact she's white and her music is very bland. She's also releasing music during a time when the music industry is a dumpster fire and there isn't any real competition. If she was around in the 1990s when country artists like Garth and Shania were crossing over to the pop charts, she would be a mid tier act at best.
