They had been spying illegally on Trump and other citizens long before the election, probably on Justice Roberts to affect decisions, etc. Hillary was supposed to win, and it would all get covered up. Trump won, and this Russia conspiracy, Flynn takedown was manufactured to cover Obama’s illegal dealings. They finally got caught....

Come on dude! Either you lack reading comprehension or you are willfully blind to the story here.

Let’s talk about reading comprehension.

My question is about why Flynn didn’t mention the unauthorized access/abuse by FBI contractors in testimony and instead framed it as a technical oopsie.

That’s the question. CTH includes that link In their article. I’d suggest you watch it.

It’s a stunning article. I have No doubt this happened. Way too much evidence.

The problem is -- how that information that they "got by mistake" was used. Under Odumbf*ck it was abused and used for political purposes.

Someone has to get to the bottom of who was using Samantha Powers' name to unmask Americans. Personally, I think she's a lying f*cking c*nt and she was the one doing the illegal unmasking. But, someone has to get to the bottom of it.

I didn’t mean to attack you so harshly. Sorry about that.

However, I don’t see in your post anything about Flynn. Looks like you’re talking about Rodgers testimony. (See your post copied below)

Nevertheless, regarding Flynn, I think it’s quite possible that Flynn was not aware of the abuse of the NSA database.

I read this yesterday. I watched the video link at the end of the article - testimony of Rodgers and McCabe before Congress. Rodgers describes the NSA database as inadvertently collecting info on Americans and he’s moving to fix it (technical solution) No where in his testimony did Rodgers state that the database was being intentionally abused to search Americans by people without proper approvals. Rodgers made it sound like an oopsie. That doesn’t align with what CTH is reporting. Thoughts??

The obama administration wiretapped American journalists and their families and the MSM yawned.

That should make him feel invincible. The fact that he is now attempting to circumvent additional information from surfacing tells me it has to be a powerful indictment against him and his administration.

They were using the searches to build profiles of the candidates they needed to sabotage or blackmail (See the Waters comment). It didn't just start with Donald Trump.

Yeah my bad. - I meant Rodgers.

He found the abuse- knew it was being exported unredacted to unauthorized individuals.

Knew it was targeting specific political figures repeatedly over time.

But NONE of this is in his testimony to Congress. That’s where I’m at. Trying to reconcile that.

They were probably taking notes from the Clintons.

Anyone remember that story on the US Senate candidate from Illinois circa 1994-1996 who got railroaded by the FEC? The story was that they would drop the charges only if he signed some kind of agreement never to run for public office again.

IIRC, this was someone who ran against Durbin, not against Paul Simon or Carol Moseley Braun.

This is a staggeringly important reminder. In their efforts to weaponize the IRS against Tea Party conservative groups, Hussein's administration was already primed to work as an instrument of retribution against those who stood in the way of his radical leftist agenda.

Even Andy McCarthy, who’s normally suggested things were unethical but not illegal, seems to be changing his stance. On Steve Hilton’s show last night he said that Flynn was specifically targeted to get him out of the way so they could go after Trump, rather than investigate malfeasance on Flynn’s part. I didn’t think it’s a stretch to suggest a conspiracy charge.

WASHINGTON – As part of their continued efforts to conduct oversight of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Department of Justice (DOJ), Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) and Chairman of the Senate Judiciary’s Subcommittee on Crime and Terrorism Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina) discovered a partially unclassified email sent by President Obama’s former National Security Advisor (NSA) Susan Rice to herself on January 20, 2017 – President Trump’s inauguration day.

Ambassador Rice appears to have used this email to document a January 5, 2017 Oval Office meeting between President Obama, former FBI Director James Comey and former Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates regarding Russian interference in the 2016 Presidential election. In particular, Ambassador Rice wrote:

“President Obama began the conversation by stressing his continued commitment to ensuring that every aspect of this issue is handled by the Intelligence and law enforcement communities ‘by the book’. The President stressed that he is not asking about, initiating or instructing anything from a law enforcement perspective. He reiterated that our law enforcement team needs to proceed as it normally would by the book.”

Grassley and Graham were struck by the context and timing of this email, and sent a follow up letter to Ambassador Rice. The letter reads in part:

“It strikes us as odd that, among your activities in the final moments on the final day of the Obama administration, you would feel the need to send yourself such an unusual email purporting to document a conversation involving President Obama and his interactions with the FBI regarding the Trump/Russia investigation. In addition, despite your claim that President Obama repeatedly told Mr. Comey to proceed ‘by the book,’ substantial questions have arisen about whether officials at the FBI, as well as at the Justice Department and the State Department, actually did proceed ‘by the book.’”

Grassley and Graham have asked Ambassador Rice to answer a set of questions by February 22, 2018 so the committee may further assess the situation. The full text of their letter is below.
