Uh, there are plenty of other countries that have those values. Unlike Israel, they're also not ethnostates.
Name one in the Middle East.
And Israel is not an ethnostate. Anyone can be of any religion or ethnicity and live there if they want. Same cannot be said for other countries in the area.

It's brainwashing.

They’re not, it’s just a way to keep Christian Trump supporters in line. The Gods chosen people is poorly understood in the US.,

She's at least on Ms. Lindsey's level of neocon.

Hmmm, who repeats it? The media? Joe Biden? Politicians who are getting money for it? I've never heard it IRL conversation. But then I've never heard 'It's a threat to democracy' in a real life conversation.

There’s a difference between the “tribes” of Israel in the Bible and the “nation” of Israel that was founded in 1948.

Why is "Israel our greatest ally"?
But they dick us over all the time, so. . .

Definitely not Saudi Arabia that's for sure. When I was a kid I remember my mom dragging me in a hurry to the home of one of her church prayer group ladies. It was chaotic at the home, and the lady was crying like crazy. It was like someone had died. Anyway I was to young to understand while there so just hung out with other kids. On the way home I asked my mom what happened, and she said that the ladies son had been arrested in SA for holding a prayer group off base. She wasn't able to really tell me the "why," but later my dad sat us down and explained it.
Things may have changed, don't know, but thats my first taste of what moslims will do to prevent their beliefs from getting tested.

I don’t think it’s “officially” referred to as that, but although it’s obviously taken on a strategic alliance in the geopolitical realm, I believe the historical foundation of the relationship was and still is based on shared “traditional” values. Specifically, “Western” values, small d democratic values, as well as the Judeo-Christian connection. All while they live in a pretty rough neighborhood that doesn’t exactly support any of that and in fact “fights” it in an array of ways.
No expertise in the area, just my appreciation of this broad topic.

Muslims would be angry at you even if there was not an Israel.

You can thank Evangelical churches for this. Somewhere along the way, Protestant Christianity in America went from Paul’s teachings (“There is no longer Jew or Greek…”), to near- worship of the Jewish state.

You didn't specify that it had to be in the Middle East. Why does our greatest ally have to be in the Middle East?

Repeated by who? The UK would be our "greatest" ally imo and I'd imagine that sentiment is pretty widespread.

Israel is not the US’ greatest ally. By far that would be Great Britain.
