Why is everyone pissed at high gas prices, when Brandon said the plan was to eliminate gas

The entire 2020 election has reel after reel after reel of Brandon and Dems saying they were going to ELIMINATE oil and gas....
Not just high prices, gone... completely.
I guess most don't remember that was (and still is) their plan.

Purity testers don't care. Surely a party that has been openly hostile to oil and gas for the last 3 decades has a plan to lower fuel costs.

Probably because no matter what random quote you bring up, prices had declined significantly by the end of his term and then the current guy in charge, Trump, started a fricking war under some misguided notion that it would be like Venezuela at the behest of Israel. It’s led to periods of increased fuel prices and inflation over several months.
