Think WWI. The mass slaughter of men continues to affect generations today. We in the US don't really comprehend the physical and psychological impacts of what happened. The Somme took out 20-25,000 British troops in a single day....that is 20,000+ dead.
Verdin saw 162O00 Frenchmen dead. Both battles of the Marne were bloody in 1914 close to 80,000 were killed. In the second battle in 1918 25,000 were killed
So you are looking at close to 300,000 soldiers dead in
just 4 battles. The numbers overall are staggering to really comprehend. Then factor in the same amount roughly of German deaths on the Western front. Then read about Italy in WWI the Italians got slaughtered in the mountains. The Eastern front in WWI was no picnic either.
What's amazing is that there was still stomach for fighting in 1939. Europe was a killing field for essentially 30 years from 1914 -1945.
By the time VJ Day came about, you had generations wiped out and trauma that we in the U.S. could not truly fathom. The US homeland was never really threatened during either war. The Japanese were never interested in landing troops in California or mainland Alaska for that matter. There was no German fleet prowling the Atlantic ready to lay waste to New York or DC or Philadelphia.

Their big cities are incredibly safe at all hours of the night, there's zero "no-go zones", and the people are loving it and continue to vote for it in greater enthusiasm. It's my family's landing spot if we ever have to leave the US, as I am 100% Polish and my grandpa's brother was the Secretary of Defense and later the President at one point. I still carry his last name and it's very uncommon, and I speak the language

The WEF agenda is on display
Canada and Carney are driving the same path …
quote:
The specific objectives become clear about halfway through the presser today as Carney notes the importance of grouping nations together who agree on climate change, energy controls and the green agenda.
Canada’s alignment with Europe is seemingly centered on the net-zero carbon model. This perspective makes sense from Carney as it is the same priority he’s carried since his time as governor for the Bank of England.
quote:
HISTORY: Through the “Net Zero” Banking Alliance (NZBA) Mark Carney pushed banks to agree with policies and protocols that forced them to set lower lending targets to high-carbon industries and clients.
The goal was to force companies to ‘decarbonize’ or find themselves starved of capital.

Europe became secular that was their downfall. Europe thrived under Christianity.
Now they are lost, don’t know good from evil, and have suicidal empathy because they they have no foundation.

We remain only one election away from the Democrats over here putting the pedal to the metal towards the same destination.
If the Dems win the Presidency and Congress in 2028 there will continue to be elections. But the vote counting will take a few months. It must be done by a 'special panel of experts' checking for accuracy.

Just did a pilgrimage in Portugal, Spain, and France. They do have the best churches, although not many actually go to church.
Not to derail the thread but did you do Camino de Santiago? It’s on my bucket list. I was reading and watching videos last night.

Obama apology tour and Clinton’s global grifting sent us down the same path. Hate him or Love him, DJT is righting the ship. Can we continue his momentum?

It’s either vote dem - get what’s happening in Europe
Or
Vote republican
Integrate Israel into the United States and go to war in the Middle East forever.

One thing is for sure... Criticisms from Europeans about America is non-existent.... If there are some they go down like the Hindenburg.

It's sad to see Hungary now devolving into EU mandates.

You make an important point, well-stated.
But I'm not convinced how the remaining males became such low-T.

Do you realize how ironic(in a hilarious way) it is for the poliboard to call out Europe as “backward” or “bumpkins?
I honestly laughed out loud enough so that my wife heard me in the next room…
