Most people in the United States don't have coherent ideological underpinnings. They just have a sort of buffet line political ideology.
There are libertarian aspects to some left politics in the United States. They just happen to get there by identifying a relationship that I think right libertarians have a blindspot: if something with dubious personal liberty implications is a private business but their most significant customer is the government then the venture is the government by proxy.

Because part of their power is the threat of mob violence from their TRANSTIFA crowd showing up somewhere, causing chaos and then being able to go home with zero repercussions. If Flocks can track them to their septum-pierced lair, that ability to generate mobs is lessened because of repercussions being visited on them from the damage they cause.

most don't. Why does the communist left want to live in a shari law society?

Because democrats are pro-crime and criminals.

Of course not, but the OP's question wasn't "Why does Sludgefactory not wan Flock Cameras".
For me it is a privacy issue. Leftists want your privacy violated in every shape, manner, or form. They don't want THEIR or their foot soldiers tracked, however.

Because body cams on cops went the exact opposite way they thought it would.

What privacy rights are at issue? I’m genuinely curious. Most businesses and residences have cameras installed. You are out in public for the world to see you where there are these cameras.

The fact that they need warrants for all you mentioned but don’t need warrants for flock cameras. Also if they have all the things you mentioned, why do they need flock?

Except long term tracking isn't just "being seen" - it's an imposed, automated dragnet and stalking. It's not the same as someone watching you pass by.

Nobody likes them. It's a universal thing. Mostly anyways. Just enough libs are DSA and that's enough to make a difference.

the amount of supposed conservatives to repeat the same lines of "but muh phone tracks me" and "if you dont have anything to hide....." lines is absolutely shocking. I'm not on the left so you'll have to ask them about that. I'm calling out my own side.

That’s literally what the camera does. You have no reasonable expectation of privacy while driving down a public street. If you want such a privacy right, petition the legislature.

You should from the government.

The police don’t need a warrant to ask for camera footage. They can get a warrant and seize it if you won’t produce it though.
Posted on 8/10/26 at 12:05 pm to Riverside
So again, why do they need flock?
