Why do liberals have so much faith in government?

I can't understand how and why these people have so much faith in government. I don't get it....
They are willing to inject themselves with an experimental vaccine, multiple times, because government says so.
They stayed home for a year because government told them to.
They want government to run our health care system.
They think government can change the weather.
They want to raise taxes so government gets more money.
They want government to be the only ones who own guns.
They think government can solve racism.
They want government to get them out of debt.
They want government to silence anyone who doesn't agree with them.
And they think its bad to question government.
No wonder so many in leadership are addicted to power. Half of this country's citizens want them to have that power.

They're not liberals anymore, they're progressive leftists. A true liberal wouldn't believe in any of those you listed, any real liberals that are still out there have been silenced

Liberals have had control of the public school system since the Mid 90s... We are seeing the effects of that now. They have been trained.

They believe their group of like minded people can get in power and control government, which we know can never happen. The govt is too large and out of control.
They don't care what happens after they gain power, the goal is just to get there. Their ideas are too radical to push through at this time. Give them 5-6 years and they'll have this down.

Don’t even bother calling them their repackaged name (progressive). Call it what it actually is going forward. They’re Marxists/socialists. Some don’t even realize it

Because they see Man as God they have the corresponding view that they can Perfect the very nature of Man, through The State. They believe they can actually change human nature. Not human behavior, but actual human nature. The State is their God . And who is the State ? They are. They are God .

Because they are the government. Most liberals work for the government, a government contractor, or an institution which relies on government grants.

If you don’t believe is a god, you have to believe in something so governments fill the void. That’s why the first thing authoritarian governments do is to eliminate religions and religions leaders
