For decades, politicians and media have downplayed human trafficking and abductions in general. It was always disturbing. Now, an entire political side believes human trafficking is a conspiracy theory.
Countless American children and adults go missing every year. The idea is that the vast majority of them are just running away. It's a dumb as frick idea.
Then you've countless children going missing after crossing our southern border. The idea is that they are all safe and sound and no one needs to try and find them.
In Haiti, during the rebuilding phase where a lot of charities went over, countless children went missing.
For frick's sake, a terror group has been rampaging in Africa for many years. They've raided several schools and kidnapped young girls to sell as sex slaves.
A helluva lot of kids disappear all over the world, and to bring it up, you're a conspiracy theorist. I'm not even suggesting a centralized cabal or some shite is behind it. Just that kids are disappearing. Rather than ignore the problem, governments should put a magnifying glass on it.
