You've raised a number of valid points, but I think a lot of Americans, myself included, feel like their elected representatives have been bought by lobbyists and no longer represent the American people.

Musk is an obvious bad actor here but it’s true he’s not the first, just the latest and loudest. And democrats talking oligarchy like it just became a thing once again make themselves look ridiculous.

Our President is brilliantly surrounding himself with the best and brightest. Our last President surrounded himself with corrupt yes men who he had to preemptively immunize from prosecution. I don't see why any reasonably intelligent person would object to having the Rennaissance Man of our era work on making government more efficient. Unless one is a federal worker? Are you a federal worker or otherwise dependent on State largesse?

When did Musk get elected? I must have missed his hearing. I agree with Trump's policies. I don't agree with letting Musk do whatever he wants. Maybe trump will make him the scapegoat after he messes up.
