It does seem like itd be the other way around in that Republicans are generally "pro have the freedom to do something".. However that usually excludes life ruining or destructive things. Abortion typically ruins or severely scars at least two lives.
Democrats like to be able to shirk responsibility and consequences of bad decisions.
Abortions.. welfare...wealth redistribution. It's actually kind of strange that they aren't more pro gun.

Democrats are the party of destruction. Burning, looting, rioting in cities? The dems are silent. The dem mayors and DAs let it happen and don't prosecute them.
They are for allowing old people to commit suicide.
They are for aborting a child just before it is born, and some are for killing it once it has been born (See Virginia gov).
They are for defunding the police which will cause criminals to commit more crimes, not less. This means more people will be harmed, not less, and the dems support it because on cop in in one state out of 10 states may have made a bad decision.
The republicans are against all of this.
You decision on who to vote for is easy. If you are for destruction, vote democrat. If you are against destruction, vote republican.

In the US, in 2017 there were 815k abortions
280k were White (Whites make up around 63% of the population)
671k were Minorities
I’ve always wondered why Democrats don’t switch to a pro life stance.
If that ratio is correct, then approximately 42 million minority babies have been aborted since 1973.
Minorities overwhelmingly vote Dem.

I wonder the same thing. Haven’t like ~50 million black babies been aborted since roe v Wade? Since blacks overwhelmingly vote in lockstep for Ds then it seems like a net loss for dems and net gain for republicans after it’s all said and done

mandatory sterilization. Nip it in the bud.
Absolutely - every abortion not required by physical health of the mother or a result of aggravated rape/incest should be accompanied with a sterilization procedure.

And the other supports abortion. Seems like the abortion side of thing is far better for the country than letting all those lazy selfish immoral folks take over. Small price to pay.
You survived yours.

See which groups get the most abortions and which party needs those votes. It's all about the votes.

Because they are evil and we are not.

it just goes to show how racist democrats really are and have always been.

Once you see how much of an abortion the federal government is how can you support them?

Conscience. 'Republicans' are of the God Paradigm; they fear the afterlife Judgment if they disrespect the reverence of a child, and the creative process.
If your point re "other way around" means that if they have their way (no abortion), then there are a lot more of the very people who are irreverent toward the creative process and a future child - with such becoming a plague on society - then God-fearing people will take the societal pain before offending God. And likely try to create societal circumstances which address the heathen aspects of a Godless society, and it's pernicious affect on children. An us all.

I appreciate that honesty. I feel like this is the case for damn near everything left to right haha.

It has always been strange to me that republicans are for hunting and against killing babies and democrats are against killing everything but babies.
Equating Hunting with killing unborn babies is just asinine.
Hunting, since man's existence, has been a large part of our survival. Without hunting humans would have died off long ago and basically every type of organism hunts for its food in one form or fashion.

Wait, it WAS yesterday. And I agree.

And this is generally because the ends justify the means for Democrats. All of these policies result in shifting some "good-ness" - freedom, money - further to affected parties.
Democrats believe this is a good thing, regardless of the method to get there, as it long as it isn't TOO Bad (moral relativism). And if it is bad, they'll figure out to justify it anyway - the debate over fetus vs. clump of cells.

Some Democrats aren't in favor of abortion. They just choose to trade their morals for votes.

.....because Republicans tend to be Christian and respect life (Thou shalt not kill)......Democrats tend to be athiest and believe it's okay to murder (abort) a baby because, depending on the circumstances, keeping the baby is an inconvience. It's that simple.

The SCIENCE actually proves life starts far earlier than anyone wanted to admit when RvW was made law of the land.
Yes, that's a person, not a mere mass of cells.
I'm neither religious OR Republican. And still, I acknowledge the value of life.
