There is a big difference in these scenarios. Telling people to remain home because of COVID while you flew to Cabo is far worse. Cruz has an optics problem, not hypocrisy.

If a democrat did that everybody on the right would act the same way. It is just not a good look. I remember when the 2016 flood happened in Baton Rouge, mayor Kip Holden left and went to China on his business trip. I know it’s not the same thing but it just looks bad.

Trump was successful because he had a big personality that people bought into. Ted Cruz is a bit liimp wristed when it comes to "power of personality".

Well Pelosi was one of the majors fricktards pushing for complete shutdown where Cruz is totally opposite. Had Cruz said we need complete lockdown then the Karen’s would have a point of hypocrisy. They don’t because Cruz doesn’t give a frick.

Cruz takes his family on a vacation (probably preplaned) and definitely the smart thing for the family and, outrage.
Cuomo murderers a few thousand innocent old people, makes anti-Trump Political hay out of their corpses, and performs a coverup, SILENCE.
Any reason Cruz should be in Texas are the same reasons that Biden and/or Harris should be in Texas. Political. None of them are going to chop wood and deliver it to anyone.

Nancy refused to wear a mask in a salon which was closed to the general public , defying her states orders.
That is two violations she committed and not a damn word was said by the Democrats. She then went after the private business owner and tried to make it her fault, forcing her to close her business.
There is no such order keeping Ted from vacationing in Cancun.

It's called piling on. He's Republican you know. Still it was a lousy decision by Cruz. He should know better. Having said that, if any democrat senator did something like this, you'd never know about it.
