Why are "moderate" democrats so silent on their party going full blown socialist?

It's so odd that so few seem to have any problem with this.
Where's the vocal outcry?

They're terrified of the disease they created

Moderate democrats/unicorns

There are no democrat moderates left in their party

Same reason moderate Muslims do it.
They quietly support the outcomes.

When you bring a few Tiger kittens into your house, they are cute and fun to watch...as they mature, you try to be quiet so they don't notice you try to eat you!
It seemed like such a clever idea when they were kittens

Kinda reminds you of the abortion issue back in the 60s huh? Enough Dems woosied out by keeping their mouths shut - now look where we are today with that issue, aborting live babies.

I think the moderates are pretty silent because they are hoping the rest of the party comes to its senses. Just a runaway train with CNN, NY Times, and MSNBC adding fuel to the fire. Moderates think it is eventually going to crash and burn on its own. The current dem/socialist leaders have just about drowned out Pelosi and Schumer. I am even surprised at this.

Why should they? There haven't been any issue up for vote yet. And Pelosi will make sure there aren't any in the future either. AOC et al just make the moderates look even more moderate and stable, so they ain't complaining.
They are letting the crazies flap their lips and will focus on the slow but inevitable expansion of government. This is far more a problem than any ludicrous plan AOC comes up with.

Because, then where would they go? Independents don't get enough funding to win elections, and moderate Democrats aren't welcome in the GOP.
So, they hold their tongue and hope they don't get primaried.

Moderate dems would immediately be called "cucks" by the majority of the republicans on this board.

Who are the moderate Democrats? "Moderates" left the party or have been eliminated in primaries for years now.

Why would there be this:
If the goal is
I mean the folks in districts that aren't full of idiot socialists are not going to vote for folks like the nutty bartender so they run "moderates" who sit by silently until it is too late. I mean these "moderate" democrats elected in reddish/blue blueish/red districts and states have their seats at the table...

Manchin is a true piece of cuck scum if he stays with this shitshow of a party

Your line of thinking completely ignores that their base wants this type of governance
Good luck pushing a “moderate” through those debate stages
AOC’s true purpose is to push the Overton window further and further left

Moderate Democrats of thirty years ago today are the GOP.
