Why are Dems pushing Russia/obstruction so hard when the hammer

is about to come down on FISA abuse, spygate, etc.? Seems like self destructive behavior on their end, they should be retreating on this issue and focusing on stuff like healthcare if they were being rational.

They moved on to Obstruction of their false investigation. You know the hammer is about to drop on them when they start every reply with “ but Collusion isn’t a crime” . They are putting that narrative out to protect themselves for when the reality hits, that it was them colluding with Foreign powers; cause for 2 years all they’ve talked about is Trump as a colluder.....My how the narrative has flipped

My guess is they are hoping to bury it with all the outrage and furor they expect from some imagined bombshell. Along with that I would guess that they believe if something miraculous (for them) is found then that might give them the ammo they need to stop those investigations.
Too bad for them that reality doesn't work that way. We've gotten all the "bombshells" from the Mueller report that are ever going to come and for the most part it treated them like Wile E. Coyote by blowing up in their collective face. The best they could possibly hang their hat on right now is a weak charge of Obstruction that sits on very unstable ground.

Media. They know they are about to go to jail. They could have played it one of 2 ways.
1) The smart play - stay quiet, and try to float off into obscurity, maybe even help out the investigation to reduce jail time or
2) the stupid play - be as loud as possible and basically tell the media why they are about to be indicted but play it off as some tyrannical "far fetched idea" so when it actually happens, they can say, "i told you". The failure in this line of thinking is they believe the media will save them for proper justice. They don't realize they are only talking to themselves.

So Barr has testified twice before the Senate. The first time he spoke about getting a group together to investigate FISA abuse. And then yesterday he talked about getting a group together to talk about FISA abuse. If a hammer was going to drop why hasn't he progressed with his group between hearing 1 & 2. Time is running out man. He could own the narrative but doesn't. He's acting as if we were not in an election season.

They're not so much pushing Russia/obstruction. They're shifting to character assassination to get Barr to drop the whole thing and say 'Well, let's move on.'
