I voted for a close friend for a local judge seat that ran as Democrat but he is conservative. You just have to run as a D if you’re in the delta because demographics

None in state or federal. I have for local election races if I know who the person is and I feel like they will do the job properly. Example would be if a committee person slot is available or school board

State rep that covered Washington parish. She’s the real deal, although kooky at times. Last time I voted for her was when she ran as an independent for parish president. Instead we got the rubber stamped republican. He takes photo ops all day and doesn’t do much else. Not that he doesn’t try, he’s just not very bright.

I am 57 and I I registered as democrat in 1986. As my Dad told me you register as a democrat because that is just how it was back then but you vote for who you want. I would vote in the democrat primaries vote for the dumbest MFer on the ballot. Then in the runoffs I would always vote Republican. I have never voted for a democrat when I had a choice.
