All of them have to go. Republicans in this state are just as bad as Democrats. They’re all the same here. It’s not just Democrats who have ruined this state. Republicans have really had their hand in, in fricking this state up as well.

What would Louisiana be without New Orleans and Baton Rouge? Let’s take a field trip to Monroe or Ville Platte and fantasize.

I wouldn't bet on this.

We've had large companies announcing their plans to build and hire in Louisiana as well. I'm not a huge fan of his, but he hasn't done "nothing."
Dude is all talk and has done NOTHING with insurance rates , crime in the city, and out of control taxes in this state

Landry sucks , he has done nothing, but put the ten commandments in elementary schools.
Lowered taxes. Could have had that permanent but Louisiana voters voted against it.
I voted for xan. I don’t like Landry. He reminds me of a grandma.
But some of you people are either really ignorant or just flat out liars.

Well we saw what happened without New Orleans. Those people moved to other parts of the state or moved out of state.

Yeah, New Orleans is a real ghost town.

I would.
Unseating an incumbent Governor in Louisiana is tough enough as it is. Blanco likely wins re-election if not for Hurricane Katrina.
Unseating an incumbent Governor in Louisiana is going to be even harder trying to do so within the same political party. The Democrats don't have a single person that the current State Dem Party leadership would circle around as a "real Democrat" that could win a state-wide election in Louisiana.
Therefore, the challenge would have to come from the right, and I just don't see it happening. The LA GOP will have all its resources dedicated to and Landry re-election, so the LABIs and LMOGAs of the state would have to really smell blood in the water and put their resources behind one candidate to challenge, and I just don't see them taking that risk.

JBE can’t run he’s term limited

Don't the second and third biggest cities in the state now have Republican mayors?

Edwin Edwards served two terms from '72-80, then a third '84-'88, and a fourth '92-96.

Ngl, I’m seriously considering it. Landry has been exactly what I told everyone he would be. He has pissed away every ounce of his mandate.

No he’s not. In Louisiana, you can’t serve more than two CONSECUTIVE terms. You can serve as many as you want, just not three or more in a row. He’s eligible to run for a third term next cycle.

I never thought I'd say it but if JBE runs again against Jeff Landry, I'd have to close my eyes and just hit the button for one of them, then without looking at who I blindly picked, I'd hit the "VOTE" button.
As bad as JBE was, I'd rather him over Landry now. frick Jeff Landry.
I would never willingly vote for another Democrat (I haven't done sone since 2008) but I'd accidentally vote for JBE over willingly voting for Jeff Landry in a heartbeat

then Nungesser
Doubtful Nungesser runs for Gov in 27'. There's no term limits on being Lieutenant Governor, plus he's know as the 'fun guy'. There's literally no pressure being Lieutenant Governor, it's impossible to fail. Zero accountability.

Garrett Graves is coming for blood.
