I always liked Joe Lieberman. I didn't agree with him , but I trusted that he was honest and wanted the best for the country.
It's a shame that only us old guys can remember a time when there were adults on both sides of the aisle.

Mike Beebe was a damn good governor in Arkansas.

I agree with you on Senator Lieberman

Chet Edwards. Former state rep from Texas' 17th district where I used to live.

Ted Kennedy. It takes brass balls and a lot of money to be able to kill a woman and still become a Senator.

Slick Willy getting his knob slobbed in the oval office. Not joking at all.

John Kennedy is a pretty good ole baw - for a democrat.

Satan.
At least he was honest about his dishonesty.
The rest of his Democratic Party is irredeemable.

Lieberman's lasting legacy is being the only person in the Senate who rivaled John McCain in supporting endless war. Frick him.

Why did you move? For work?

I respected Kip Holden and even voted for him for Lt Gov over Nuss. I didn’t agree with his politics but he wasn’t a pandering race baiter and I felt he truly loved BR. I voted for him over Nuss because Lt Gov is a largely a ceremonial role with a focus on tourism and he would have done a better job imho.

While living in La. I always had high regard for Francis Thompson from Delhi.

Kip told the race baiters and poverty pimps to take a hike.
