Looking at who is who in political circles right now, is there ANYBODY who excites anyone on the right, or even gives anyone a thought that maybe they could win?

Landry cannot win, and worse, will screw up a GOP primary.

Kennedy, running for treasurer, then jumping to senate, then jumping to governor race, in a 4 year cycle, is not a good look. Plus, while I laugh at his hokey mannerisms, nothing he does screams "competent leader who can fix the state"

Nunguesser? Ugh.

Surely noone in the La Legis is worth a damn

LA congressional delegation? Meh.

Is there a mayor or someone out there? Businessman? (Although I can't see any businessman making the cuts to the various credits)

I'm almost to the point of asking what it will take to get Kip to become a Republican and run.

State Senator Sharon Hewitt may run.

Jeff Landry will run.

Garrett Graves should run.

I'm running on expanding our state territorial waters to be EQUAL to everyone else.

By force. Cajun navy activated.

Commish of Ag. Mike Strain is a solid choice.

Not saying he’ll run, not saying he’d win.

I am saying he’d be the best Governor we’ve had in a long time.

The two main GOP'ers are going to be Kennedy (ugh) and Abraham. Kennedy will make the runoff.

This is actually the first name that popped into my head. I've known Dr. Strain a very long time, and he is a stand up guy. I think he would do a great job. Certainly much better than the other idiots up to bat.

We said the same shite about Trump and look where he is right now.

Don't underestimate Landry's ability to rile up the coonasses and rednecks against JBE. There's a reason why he was a member of the house freedom caucus.

Actually Ralph Abraham has been making the rounds and made a bit of noise earlier this year against JBE.

He's very likely going to run next year and it would be safe for him to do so considering it's a non federal election year.

Are you really saying this shite while the political twin of Edwin Edwards with some Huey Long thrown in is still our Governor?
