Per ABC News

This marks one of the shortest conclaves in history
The conclave to elect the 267th pope ended after the second day of voting on Thursday, marking one of the shortest conclaves in history.
There are only two other instances in recent history where a pontiff was elected after only two days of voting, first for Pope Benedict XVI in 2005 and the second for Pope Francis in 2013.

and you know that because the bible was written in plain english and that's good enough for you!
the great news is that protestant faith is dying in america at an increasing rate in 200 years it won't exist and we'll be picking a new pope.
start to finish in 600 years like it never even happened.
turns out the protestant reformation was just a blip in the history of the church!

The Pope has NOTHING to do with the "rest of Christianity". We don't take direction from the Pope, nor should we. Nobody should, but if the Catholics want to, that's their business. But the man absolutely give NO direction to the "rest of Christianity."
To my surprise, the PT Catholics have made me understand that they only consider themselves to be Christians. Guess Protestants are damned to hell.

The Pope has more power and influence than any other Christian leader. It’s important to realize that even if you aren’t Catholic.

lol. What a terrible take fueled by nothing but hatred.
You don't have to be Catholic or like the pope to know that he most definitely impacts the "rest of Christianity".

That’s like saying Joe Biden had more power and influence than any other American. In reality, he was a dementia riddled puppet.

If a conservative pope has been elected, it’s a sign of divine intervention. The cardinals are heavily stacked in Francis’ indoctrination
What is it considered if one of Francis’ boys gets in? For that matter what was it considered when Francis became the pope?

Catholicism is declining faster than Protestantism in the U.S.

Francis was considered liberal when he was elected - we just didn’t know the extent. If one of his boys is elected, same thing. He stacked the deck with tons of his followers

I guess if you consider a bunch of bad rock concerts with a three minute "Go Jesus" pep rally "Protestantism".
