More insidious imo are that fathers are too often portrayed as incompetent goobers — if not needless appendages — in many contemporary sitcoms.

The greatest TV commercial ever made was never shown in the US. It was Japanese. The ad was for a laundry detergent with a whitener. The beautiful young Japanese girl walked up to the machine with her black boyfriend and instructed him to get in. She poured the detergent in and shut the lid on him. When the cycle was done she opened the lid and out popped a handsome young white dude. They were both so happy!.

I don’t watch movies or TV much but the wife and I watched a few movies over the weekend. Female spies relentlessly kicking white male spies’ butts in fights, black female heroines with 160 IQs, and of course LBGQwhatever crap infused into each flick. It’s ridiculous.
