A reference to a similar news story and what the authorities over there said to the person who was stabbed was missed.
Its commentary on how here stateside a group of people and the authority figures and leaders who think like them will place no fault at the hands of the stabber, make excuses for him, and find a way to blame the victim and paint the story that he deserved it. Kind of like the poor young man in England.
