I’ve heard of Performance Improvement Plans but they are punitive everywhere I’ve worked.

Thats actually a fact.
If we restarted financially now, the folks that have more money would still end up with more but the order of whos at the top would drastically change.
Finance is a gift most dont have.

Spend the money on promoting that and you'll make a real difference in this world.
