Which nfl player disappointed you the most, when they went sjw?

Mine was cam newton. He was
narcissistic, flashy, flamboyant and weirdly wore skinny jeans. But he wasn't SJW. He was someone who publicly voiced support for our police and military. He never politicized anything.
But..after the police shooting in Charlotte, that led to riots. Espn, sports illustrated, most regular msm ..crucified him because he didn't politicize that shooting.
A little while after he was beat by the msm.. he started doing black power fists on the field, politicizing everything. Trying to make everything into racial matters. Basically he went full sjw. I stopped following the Panthers and the nfl after that. Threw away my remaining tickets. Because at that time, Panther players started kneeling also. Smh.

Nothing personal but Cam flaking out is the least surprising thing ever.

It's easily Drew Brees. You always have people talking up athletes and celebrities as these great human beings, but it's mostly bullshite. Brees was one of the exceptions. He could have put an huge dent in this current cancel culture by standing up for his beliefs. He did the exact opposite.

This is spot on. I wonder if his hand was forced in some way by Saints ownership or Goodell?

Brees! He bowed to the money!

Gotta say none, haven't watched in forever, since pos gooddell turned the game into bubble wrapped flag football.

I'm glad I already stopped watching nfl games, I won't have to see Brees turning full sjw this season. shite would be like seeing peyton or brady going full sjw at the end of their careers. I can't picture it and don't want to picture it.

Easily Brees.
Brees fell the most. IDK if his fall is recoverable.

He did stand up for his beliefs. Too bad it was the “money over everything” belief.

If it was about anything else, I'd agree with you completely. But, cam always stood firm when it came to not politicizing shite. Even during his college days, ya can say he cheated and lied.. but he never tried to make everything into racial matters.

Even when I had otherwise turned my back on the NFL, I would still watch a Saints game. Hell, I'll even admit that I checked a site every week which detailed how Brees was moving up rankings of the all-time NFL leaders with regards to career touchdowns and passing yards.
When Brees caved, that HURT.

Colston, second to last pick of the draft, saw great success..... thinks America is “racist”

He never politicized anything.
