We are in the early kinetic stages of a war with BRICS. Europe has to wrap their heads around that before they know which direction they need to walk. Most just want to continue to live their good life as they have for a half century.

If Canada drives too far out of their lane, we will go up there and straighten them out. It is not in our National Interest to have nasties north of our long, long border. Mexico is a tougher problem.

They’re a Commonwealth nation, which means England, Australia, New Zealand would be on the other side of that tussle. Not sure how we allowed Canada to keep it strong ties with the crown of England with the Monroe doctrine. Probably should revisit that.

If they saddle up to the Chinese (they won't), we will go up there and straighten it out. We'd be remiss to do otherwise.
This is all a hypothetical because they won't. Canada has to live beside us even after the age of Trump. Right now they have a severe case of TDS.
So I have a friend who has good Canadian friends who have lived down here for about six months out of the year. And they've done so for years. They own a house here. They are generally conservative meaning they did not like Trudeau and the liberal party. But they are so eaten up with TDS they can't see past their noses. My buddy just cuts them off when in conversation, when they go down the TDS rabbit hole. But they were conservative before Trump. That's your typical Canadian nowadays.

I've long been disgusted with our continued support of the UN in view of their sucking up to every anti-American faction that erupts, and now that is spilling over to hating NATO for the same reason.
It appears that the USA is going to have to stand alone to prevent the destruction of western civilization - I'd rather have that made clear now while we still have options left and some nations that can be counted on to be on our side.
If we wait until the entire European continent is under control of the mullahs, we will surely be standing alone -

That would be awesome. It would make snatching up their leaders and holding them accountable or Ayatollahing them much easier once they under the protection of Xi and Putin.
