September 11th, everyone can recite exactly where they were and what they were doing when they heard the news.

Along those same lines, we will forever remember the moment we realized that DJT would be allowed to MAGA and would be our very first President.

I was playing an online video game, I had become disappointed due to the early reports from that day, not paying much attention any longer to the news. It was between 2000-2100 EST and a friend mentioned that he was going to go turn on the news, it looks like DJT was winning.

Winning?!?!? Surprised, but excited, I scurried to the T.V. and tuned in to watch. I wouldn't sleep until 0230 that morning... Waiting to hear, to see, but I knew our country would seen BGA.

I'll never forget that night. I experienced an entirely new human emotion. A euphoric mixture of ecstasy, shock, anxiety, and pride.

I remember being certain he'd lose cause I bought the hype. So. I was watching non election TV and avoiding the internet.

My normally non political wife who typically avoids political conversations decided she couldn't resist at about 7:00pm central. So. She used her phone to check.

Then, we just couldn't stop laughing and searching for melting people to laugh at

I thought for sure right around when they announced the Obamacare hikes that it was more likely to happen. I was sleeping at 2:30AM, didn't stay up. Nothing like living through 9/11, not a very good comparison IMHO.

I have told others this story but I knew Trump could win this thing when Trump when he had 30,000+ supporters crowd into a football stadium in Mobile, AL. Seeing the rock star reaction was like the reaction Ronald Regan used to get. I knew then and there he could win this thing.

Conversely, that very same weekend, there was a big article in the Mail about Hillary's fund raising efforts. She was hosting a private party in the Hamptons for the elite 1%: Wall Street guys, hedge fund managers, fashion designers, movie stars, and other illuminati.

I knew then and there Clinton could easily lose. The ship welder in Mobile, his vote counts the same as the hedge fund manager. The people would be with Trump.

I'm an election junky so I watched it from about 6:30 until he gave his victory speech. My wife made it to about midnight when it was pretty apparent that he would win. Flipped back and forth between all of the major MSM networks and hit refresh on this board so damn much that my thumb started hurting. I told my wife he was going to win around 8:30 or 9:00ish.

It was a great night. Work was just fantastic the next day. Everyone was so happy.

I am in the military in Virginia. Work with a lot of civilian members who due to demographic makeup would not be Trump supporters...

Seeing the sadness was so much fun for me TBH, along with the irrational fears that came along. I was walking down the hall and just busted up laughing after having passed a few people.

Heard two people in the corner talking, how, how could this have happened?

Greatness

Where was I?

Well of course I was at our NIGHTLY meeting of the KKK in our local state funded White Supremacy Hall during our lynching and cross burning training sessions....or was it during our racial profiling refresher course? I forget just now. I do know it was definitely before our mandatory Denial of Residence to all but the Lily White pep rally. We even had our customary marshmallow roast over the flaming fa, er, um, just leave it at flamers.

I was about 3-4 beers in, sitting in bed watching the returns come in, watching FBN and posting here. The lights were off and the wife was already passed out, so I had the TV turned down to a low volume. I was estatic, and got up and danced around the room wildly (but in complete silence so as not to wake the wife or the toddler).

I probably stayed up until 1am chuckling madly and texting/posting.

You must be a newbie, those training sessions are all one time for life sessions.

Refresher training usually covers the finer points of oak versus creosote soaked soft wood as it pertains to cross burnings. Duration of burn and it's potential negative impacts to the local environment.

It was February, 2011. I was watching Larry King. My whole body tingled. I caught the most enormous erection I ever had (more than that time in Sweden). The skies opened, up, the angels sang, and I said "behold our future God Emperor". The rest was just a formality.

Probably after the Orlando Massacre.

I went back and forth from that point due to how much of a shitshow the campaign was. The night before the election though, I felt sure he was going to win.

The concept of Donald Trump being President still hasn't registered with me. I just can't believe we elected an orange, pussy grabbing game show host, but I understand how it happened.

I will admit to skipping the "AGW/Climate Change Environmental Impact", "EPA, Cross Burnings, and You", "Burn the brown people not the forests" seminars. They seem kinda self explanatory. Looking forward to the "A hajib in lime saves nine (white people)" series though.
