Putting South Dakota on my list. My kids are in their mid/late 20’s so schools are not an issue.
Was in Jackson Hole two weeks ago and it was really nice.

My old roommate from college retired super early to Kellog, Idaho. Far from Boise. He was in the marines for 12 years before we met. He loves the conservative values of the area but the Pacific Northwest education and money is infiltrating the area. He’s a MMA trainer for Alpha Male and he’s annoyed by the Change in demographics.

Jackson Hole, WY is very liberal.
You probably want small town Idaho or Wyoming (not Laramie or Jackson Hole). Or maybe Odessa, TX or other small towns/cities in NE or West Texas

Jesus man, you must be pretty bad off to think you can escape from people who don't fall into your paper thin ideology.

True. Hell, damn near all of Oregon is highly conservative outside of Portland, Eugene, Salem. Same goes for eastern Washington.

I have a baby due in 3-4 weeks. No way in hell was I raising a child around atlanta. Even in woodstock
Our internet options are atrocious and im an hour from a lowes or a home depot. Small price to pay for knowing an aggressor would never make it within 100yds of my front door

Morristown TN - smallish
To paint you a better picture, the top two still have nice malls with white people in them. If that’s what you’re looking for
45 mins away with no state income tax

Yankees bringing their idiocy down here
This has ruined too many Southern towns. Those people are all the same. They flee the madness up North, and then demand the same policies down here. Further, they're pushy as hell. They get to our little towns, and then show their arse with their attitudes. "Oh, what a quaint little town. We'll get rid of those musty old churches and replace them with an organic farmers market and a fair trade coffee shop, and it'll just be so perfect!"
They're locusts. They destroy their homes, and then move into OUR lands.

I bet you go to church every Sunday and call yourself a Christian. Try living up to your faith. Demonizing people that move south isn't Christian.

Less than 1000 posts makes you a potential Left wing Marxist troll.

The leftists love to huddle together in multi unit government housing.

I can honestly say I haven't talked politics with anyone other than close family in...i don't know a decade? Longer, probably. Not even at work.
Live in the burbs, keep your mouth shut, and you'll never have to deal with any of it, that's how I've done it since I've been an adult, and I've never had to deal with a single issue you're talking about.
I'm adept at not talking to strangers and keeping things extremely short with those who just won't stop trying to create a conversation. I just won't do it.

I've been thinking hard about this. I've been wanting to move out of LA due to a useless corrupt government and a huge lack of outdoor recreation and the related scenery. Oh, and the weather.
Now it is possible my work from home situation could be made permanent, so I've started looking again.
Years ago I was scouting CO and visited many times. It's beautiful (not the most beautiful) but the front range and state government are now questionable and it is getting crowded.
Idaho seems like a quiet place and has recently grabbed my interest. But I worry about it due to the proximity to Washington.
The east has decent options too but I prefer mountains that go above treeline.

In South Dakota even the Democrats here don't put up with the bullshite. We're a free state and damn proud of it.
Story going around is the Antifa folks want to start some crap in Sturgis during the motorcycle rally next week. They are going to be in for all they can handle. Won't need to bring in the National Guard. Plenty of places out here where people can disappear and never be found. Antifa should probably stay away.
