The laughable part is that you can name a place like Ashville or Austin or even Portland, drive 100 miles from that place and be in an excellent place untouched by all the frickery. This virtue ideology is only really in a very small part of the country if you just become self sufficient and turn off the fricking television

The problem is all the good places to live have turned into carebear shitholes.

All that's left for conservatives are areas where you have to drive half an hour to get groceries from a Piggly wiggly or Fred's.. and that's a deal breaker for a lot of us

There are counties right around you that are red. Eastern Tennessee as well.

That's true but that doesn't mean that the long hand of the marxist progressives isn't literally everywhere now. I'm 51 and looking for my final place: I'm sick of moving/running from inner-cities and terrible politics. I am looking for somewhere that is legitimately conservative and cannot be flipped through Gerrymandering or bullshite politics.

Anyway, god damn this country is fricked up. I need to look hard for places I might be free and have liberty lol.

Prince oF wales island in SEAK is pretty damn conservative and is very mild, rarely gets snow in the lowlands.

Ketchikan is slowly getting infected.

So where in the F is there to go that doesn't have the cancer of progressivism? I have always loved Colorado but the world seems to be getting pretty small for people who like conservatism. WTF should we look at out there?

You could live in any rural area/suburb in damn near any state and the leftists are pretty rare. In MO anywhere but ST Louis, KC proper, Columbia and maybe Springfield. I live 30 minutes from downtown KC in Platte Co.....it’s about 80-90% conservatives.

What about Banner Elk? Has it been invaded by fruit loops yet?

Stay put and fight these frickers.

If I knew that I could win I would. Unfortunately Asheville is like everywhere else these days: Everyone is from somewhere else, or a millennial a-hole that thinks they need to 'reinvent' the place that was so great that they moved there.

I don't have much hope for the change that is needed until some blood is shed.

If I were to uproot my family and move, I would look at Idaho. Depending on what draws you to Colorado, Idaho may have much of it, minus the looney leftists.

Buy yourself a nice ranch in TX. Problem solved.

I wouldn't be shocked if Joe Rogan does something similar.

Not yet but it is so small - and has so few business opportunities- that it isn't on their radar at all yet. They're more concerned with Boone (pretty much already gone) and the Asheville area. All those progressive shitheads will meet up in Banner Elk eventually.

Move to Alabama. We don’t play that shite. We have three metros that are majority black and we still vote republican every damn time.

Even in fruity arse fricking Fairhope there’s minimal virtue signaling compared to what else is going on in the country.

I’m in Spanish Fort and it’s the damn tits.

Then the Rockies in Wyoming, Idaho
, Montana and Utah. There are counties where you can be left alone...too alone.
