I’m pretty close. Company just put out the vaccine mandates required by the end of October or we have to get tested weekly on our own dime. Planning to live on unemployment until i cannot feed my family, then strap it up again.

It’s so upsetting to know i wasted 10 years of my life (4 of which on deployment) fighting for this great country just for it to go to complete dog shite.

My service and sacrifice was for my kids i planned on having at the time, but also for all of the rest of the people living in this country. To keep the freedom and great opportunity alive for those that came after me.

If i could go back in time i would have went to college and started making money and selfishly started my life like most of the people my age to be better setup for the future.

It pisses me off that i prolonged that for a bunch of ignorant, spineless, cuck suckers that hate this country to their very core.

Bring on the collapse is where i am at now. I would rather it happen now while i am still able to participate in the correction.

This, people are willing to slowly trade off bits of freedom and prosperity so long as they have a decent bit left.

Not saying that's how it should be, but that seems to be the way it is.

America of 2021 isn't America of 1776, 1812, 1917, 1941, or even 2001.

We are, for the most part, country club citizens, looking for the next opiate for the masses.

We are going to be mad as hell, angry at our government and all the woke leftists, and then promptly go to work, pay our taxes, and fall in line.

Tell me I'm wrong.

You are correct sir and well said.

One day soon, we will be sitting in the collectives or rotting in the gulags wishing we would have fought and questioning our lack of willingness to do so. We will reminisce fondly about better times and weep that we were so blind and naive. We will pray fervently to have a "do over”, "another chance”, that will be all too elusive and will never come to fruition. We will come to the stark realization that our offspring will have to endure the consequences of our cowardice for generations.

The American Revolution was actually unique. It was started by wealthy property owners. Most of them lived relatively comfortable lives for the time.

But most revolutions in the world were instigated by puppet masters, using poor economic conditions as a pretext. The Bolsheviks were fairly well off.

I'm starting a new job on a client site in Florida this week. I'm not vaccinated, and nobody has mentioned a vax policy to me. The client web site says employees must be vaxxed or be tested weekly. I'm a contractor, but I suspect that will apply to me, as well. We'll see...

This is where I'm at. I'm not properly prepared(thanks wife) but I want it now while I'm still physically able to defend and supply and my kids are still young enough to stash away out of danger. My son is already showing signs of the type that will volunteer himself as a meat shield to protect Mommy dearest, defend dads honor and beat the rape off of big sis.

History has shown us that this has always been the case.

It's why Revolutions and upheavals seemed to happen more back in the day than they have in recent history. There was less headroom back then so it didn't take much to upset the apple cart. More people lived hand-to-mouth and a larger percentage of the population were always on the brink of destitute so it didnt take much to push them over the edge and have a call to action and get them moving.

Nowadays we have much further to fall because we've been so successful as a civilization. There's barely anybody alive that remembers rationing in WW2. We are victims of our own success. Weve become fat, happy and spoiled. But we are humans and the same principles apply that have always applied. It's a basic calculation that everyone does subconsciously in their head.

Do the risks of doing something about it outweigh the risk of losing what I have left. When the 'what I have left' portion of the equation is much lower than the 'doing something about portion' then you have a revolution.

This is why the young progressives will never start the revolution. They'll only bitch and protest about it. While they don't have much to lose, they have nothing to fight for. All their grievances are just virtue signals. Deep down inside they know they have nothing to complain about. The definition of a useful idiot.

You want to see some real shite popoff, do exactly what they're doing. Blackball family-oriented, serious-minded, mature, gun-toting conservatives from society and more importantly, their livelihood to provide for their families. That's when it'll get really ugly but I'm not sure who's going to resist them.

Sadly, if you're over 40 you're likely in for a lot of suffering but will not live long enough to see the revaluation much less be a part of it.

America is in the early stage of socilaistic cancer.

Food would be the only thing that would make it pop off. They government can keep printing money out of thin air and giving it to the masses to keep them calm.

But if you live in a big city and the grocery stores are empty it wont matter if you have a million dollars. Money cant buy food when the shelves are empty.

When the folks in the big cities start rioting and tearing shite up the government will be all tied up there. Then at least they will leave me alone for the most part since the squeaky wheel gets the grease.
