He really DGAF. I get FU money and all of that but it's more than that with Elon. I think he would give someone like Bezos more respect if they said this stuff to his face. The fact that Elon confronted Bill to his face about shorting Tesla shows he does not play games behind others backs and I think he appreciates that Trump is the same. They both say what they have to say no matter who might get pissed off.
I also can appreciate the strategic use of the emoji by the world's richest man like he is a teenage girl but the mocking laughter emoji really hits a homerun.

I posted about this in some shitty thread last night, but it’s obvious to me and others that there was an open war between elites in the past year and factions were formed, and Elon and his boys saw an opportunity to seize power and risked everything to do so, and they won.
Elon is the king of America now. I welcome this because he is much more in line with /ourguys/ and will at least leave us alone. Trump will allow him to do whatever he wants.

He is ascendant and he is in the process of talking them all down. Think about how each has diminished in clout and public perception as the cultural winds have shifted and he has dominated the conversation and the public imagination. They represent central planning and he represents maverick innovation and risk taking. He is Einstein-Edison- Davinci in the popular imagination and they are land barons.
Personally, I hope all those guys eventually come in from the establishment and deep state cold. America would be better for them championing individual liberty over State coercion and control.
