Well, if someone is talking to me, and refers to some dude having a 'husband,' I immediately begin to dismiss and ignore anything else they have to say. I'll walk away in mid-sentence, in fact. If someone thinks two dudes or two dames can legitimately comprise a marriage, I don't give a damn about their opinion on any issue whatsoever.

But yes, the use of "cis" before anything will automatically inform me I'm dealing with an idiot.

is usually preceded by or precedes a bunch of BS that entails the left having power forever.

Anytime someone starts a statement off with “As a ______”. Your statement should stand without you having to remind us of your job, gender, race, etc.

It’s a lazy way of trying to invalidate others’ views and strengthen your argument, or even worse be divisive.
