over a quarter of millennials are over 40 idiot so no most don't think that

None actually think that nor do they care.

The younger Millennials and GenZ crowd use Boomer as a slur for anyone older than themselves, even older Millennials. Their use of Boomer is only loosely tied to the Boomer Gen in that they are saying "you are old".

Stereotypically, Millennials shirked that opportunity, uniquely opted to not "get tied down" with house notes, and instead to spend their money on "experiences" ... nice restaurants, parties, cool vacations.
a great deal of millennials were in middle and high school during most of this

A lot of the griping is related to housing/homes these days. That's something that can't be blamed on the Boomer generation. There are several things that led to this current problem with home purchases. Without a doubt, a large part of it is the influx of illegals who eat up a large portion of the available housing in the country. That's on good ol' Uncle Joe Biden and his cadre. (Joe ain't a Boomer. He's from the tail end of the "Silent" generation. Same for Pelosi and a host of other entrenched Dems in our congress.)

Another major problem with the seemingly ungodly increases in the cost of housing since the 1970s is the fact that our economy has been debt-based since 1973 when we left the gold standard and that has immensely devalued the dollar far beyond what typical inflation causes. This again was brought on by members of "The Greatest Generation" and the "Silent Generation" who were sitting in congress and filling up the bureaucratic offices at the time.

Far be it from this Gen-Xer to defend the old long-haired, dope-smoking, FM-type hippie Boomers, but a lot of the bitching about the Boomers seems to be based more on jealousy and envy than fact.

no it doesn’t. It’s anecdotal and means nothing

bet you think reparations for slavery are justified.

Are all boomers guilty, or only those that voted dimtard?

Definitely don't forget about the latter.

Because the same dimwit liberal academics are still running colleges and still pumping this trash into student's heads.

Negative. There were a litany of contemporary articles and opinion pieces about it in the 2014-2019 timeframe. Quite a few were discussed here.

Downvote away on this cuz I don't give a shite but speaking as a GenXer myself, I think both the Boomers and Zoomers are pretty selfish, petty, greedy and in general, make excuses for their failures and rationalize just sbout every societal destructive behaviour.

When you are bitching about a society that offers more upward mobility than virtually any on the planet, where >40% the world's millionaires reside, and 80% that cohort is new money, you actually are dealing in anecdotes.

All this boomer/gen z etc. talk is stupid as hell. Not ever person or even close to every person in any of this stupid arse classes did anything together. The vote for example is considered a landslide if you win an election by freaking 5%.

Blaming any arbitrary group based on meaningless random dates is the panicle of stupidity.

What they did was avoid carrying a lot of consumer debt.

That's smart and good for them.

Merely stating it's incorrect to blanket all boomers under the premise that they are fiscally responsible. Many were not just as not all of the succeeding generations are fiscally irresponsible.
