What do you want them to do exactly?

1. Admit that they messed up a lot of policies
2. Vote like they want to leave the country better than when they inherited it, rather than voting on their selfish needs
3. Not sell their homes/futures/assets to the Blackrocks of the world, take a hit and sell to a growing family
4. Stop running for Political Positions. Boomers have no wisdom to offer.
5. Retire, and get some movement back into the workforce. Their inability to move on jammed up the general flow/promotion structure and halted progress.

The largest house I lived in was 1900 sft. My wife grew up with 2 brothers in a home that is 970 sft.

They could all have and afford houses, they just are above everything they can afford.

My wife and I bought our first home in 1989 with a 10% mortgage. The house was 1300 sft and cost $45,000.00. No way my kids would live that way.

I have no sympathy for the grifters that are Gen Z and the Millennials. They need to grow the "F" up.

From my perspective, they're going to be the next great generation. Lord knows Gen X and Millennials won't be thought of as great generations. They'll be considered the most narcissistic and self-indulging generations.

You have a very valid point here. And fair to boot.

Even in the other thread - the most fiscally “responsible” conservatives want budget cuts before they agree to the farm bill. Have cuts been made?

Heck no. We just dig ourselves a deeper hole. We hand our money to govt officials who couldn’t even run a lemonade stand properly.

Speaking about fiscal responsibility, the most fiscally responsible people I know are Boomers. Came from a family with 9 Boomer children, dad worked while mom stayed home to take care of the kids. There was one vehicle in the family. When mom returned to work as a nurse she finally got a car and a drivers license when she was in her early 40's. All 9 children are still alive and living modestly and for the most part debt free.

all you male Karens looking for others to blame for your lack of success. all

it's pretty evident from all these complainers what multiple studies have shown --- young male testosterone levels have continuously gone down the past several generations.

Even with the challenges this generation is facing, you are still living in the riches and best country to ever exist, in an era that is more prosperous and easy than any generation in the history of man. You have more opportunities to create wealth than any person living in any other country in the world. The opportunities are there for anyone who seeks them. If you seek after excuses and reasons why you can’t thrive, you’ll find them.

nope
That was the post war boom

There is no comparison between your lifestyle, and that of folks in the "post war boom."
NONE!

Homes weren't 4000 sqft back then. Average home size in 1970 was 1500 sqft.

We sold our 1600 sq ft starter home in 2025 for $306,900. Ended up making about $90k after almost 6 years there. Not only does it come with cheap materials, but you also get a minimum 45+ min commute closer to or in downtown to Birmingham (where most jobs are) AND all the added expenses that are included in transportation. Don't forget to leave by 6:40 or else it is going to take over an hour to get there!

Younger people buy $300,000 homes as starter homes and their first car is a BMW instead of the pos that boomers drove. It's a weird shift
My wife drives a 2015. I have a 2012 F150 and 2007 2500HD as my work/hunting truck. Are they advocating that we distribute now the proceeds described in our Revocable Living Trust?

Nope.

Joe Biden is from the Silent Generation.

That's the thing. The whiners don't even know what a "Boomer" is.
meh Biden was born a few years before what "they" consider a boomer. Well these are not hard dates. they are mailable. So he is as much of a boomer as someone born in 1946.

Compare this to when boomers call people born in 1999 Millennials. they arent. The det date "they" came up with is 1996. Which IMO is bullshite. Kids born in the early 80s have more in common with people born in the early 70s then kids born in the mid 90s.

Oh, ok. And Barry Obama had absolutely nothing to do with taking thousands of used cars out of the market.
What was the name of that program of his? I'm sure that you have to know it.

That's very good for them, but they are in the roughly 50% that set themselves up right. There's a lot of Boomers that haven't done this.

All of these progressive ngos trying to undermine America are run by younger folks.

If you are a progressive, the wealthiest man that backed Trump is not a boomer.
