For me it was years ago when he said he prefers pilots who didn't get shot down, in reference to McCain. Sure, frick McCain's politics, but that was when I threw my hands up and said "there's no point in putting forth effort to defend this man". I agreed with 99% of his politics, voted for him, would vote again if he were the nom, he'd be a better prez than Biden for sure, and the media absolutely did not treat him fairly (they never do for republicans) but the guy just can't stay out of his own way. His road was hard enough without throwing land mines in front of himself.

He had said plenty of stupid shite before the McCain statement, but I always found a way to rationalize it, he's out of the box, of a different mold, etc. But eventually there comes a point where it becomes impossible.

Trump needs to shut the frick up and go away.

When did yall begin to realize it?

January 6, the entire event.

But, I’d vote for him again simply because I truly believe his policies are the best for our country.

Some of you are too dense to ever get it.

Trump was an interruption to a system YOU never had a real choice in. For a time, he actually pushed back, but he was, is and always will be Donald Trump.

There isn't a replacement. There isn't a "Trump with good political skills." Oh, they'll give you fools one, but it will be as real as Romney, McCain and the endless line of Bushes. So keep judging Trump like you're in a political science class. It doesn't matter. You'll keep playing the rigged game and wondering why the needle only ever pushes in one direction. Then one day you'll be old, bitter and maybe, JUST MAYBE, wide awake.

None of that you typed matters.

It’s simple. He can’t win. Next.

His whole presidency was a giant tantrum by a man child. I thank God Hillary did not win, but Trump was a fool from day one to me. Only one thing I tip my hat toward him for is the Supreme Court. Bravo.

Trump specifically told them to be peaceful and to not enter the building. It was Capitol Police and FBI shills that got the people to go inside. I don't hold J6 against Trump in any way whatsoever.

Overlooking quality candidates and backing shitty candidates in many races.

Its more important that they pay him homage than actually have good policies, experience, and/or chance of winning.

I mean, he supported candidates that were going to q-anon rallies.

Serious question, they had "q-anon" rallies or did you just make that up?

Yeah, boy that really changed life...uh, how?

I'll take trade reform, pulling back industry into America (for a time), lowering energy costs and creating energy independence (for a time), reducing traffic at the border and pushing back on insane "asylum" laws, taking the fight economically to China (for a time), some level of tax reform (for a time), getting us out of the never ending middle eastern conflicts, getting us out of ludicrous climate treaties and pushing back on the remoras in NATO and the UN.

The above are things you will never see another US President do in your lifetime.

When I knew the capacity to act "Presidential" was completely beyond his grasp.

This is much more important than spending trillions on foreign intervention, stopping the migrant crisis at the border and preventing trade giveaways to China that has devastated middle America.

He could have done all of that and not been a shitty leader.

Imagine that.
